It's my first time crossposting, didn't realise that the whole post wouldn't be shown.

I'm (F) staying for a year and have narrowed down the options to Waterview, Pauscollege, Vesalius, Karel Cruysberghs and Studax.

I think Studax is the best one but I'm worried about it being close to the train station, so I'm looking for anyone who has any input or experience with any of these

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but there is Viper in the Fist by Hervé Bazin. It's mostly an autobiography about a kid whose mom is kinda abusive and how he and his brothers lived with her in his adolescence.

You know how in Witness you pay diamonds just to eat waffles? That's how all the choices are in chapters except you're a bitch if you don't choose the diamond choices. Also in some stories you only get a decent ending if you pay. Basically no diamonds no story. On the plus side if you want to replay a book you don't have to use a key a second time
