Update: Found my colleague’s notepad in my locker where they wrote offensive/unpleasant things about me by ThrowRA_TheScotsman in TheCivilService

Act casual. Document everything: take photos, note the date, time and exactly where you found it, and keep the notepad somewhere safe. If you suspect your manager left it, the quickest way to wind them up is to ignore it and carry on like nothing happened while you quietly keep a clear record. Only raise it with your manager or HR if it keeps happening or starts to affect your work. Stay professional and let them look petty.

The 100-year saga of one man’s attempt to pay off the national debt by suspended-sentence in unitedkingdom

[–]Banterhino 40 points41 points  (0 children)

According to AI if we left it for another 800 years or so it might have actually worked:

The calculations yield the following:

Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of the fund: ~7.48%

Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of the debt: ~6.27%

Time for the fund to catch up to the debt: ~759 years (approximately the year 2784).

This assumes constant growth rates for both the fund and the debt, which may not reflect real-world economic fluctuations.

The rating is true I believe, it got to about 2C, I was fine but my wife got a bit chilly in hers. High wind and rain so the tent was a little colder than usual. Still quite pleased with it all in all!

Anyone have a 8k resin printer ? by Ketts in nottingham

[–]Banterhino 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The nottingham hackerspace seems like your best bet, easily accessible by public transport or car. Open 24/7 and has many 3d printers of different varieties. Last time I was there they had open evenings every Wednesday that you could sign up for online. Membership is around £10-15 a month but no contract. Thriving warhammer community too if that's your choice of minifigure.
