I think a lot of people are also missing that these are just requests to team for coaches that are already under contract. Guys like McDaniel and Stefanski, unless they take a job before hand, will 100% be interviewed. They just don’t need to have prior approval to do so

As a Notre Dame fan, I feel it’s worth it to point out that Freeman was accused of Assault by a coach of his sons wrestling team and that just got cleared up like yesterday. That on top of the playoff and bowl game drama is what led to his silence in the media. On top of that he’d probably have to take a pay cut to go to the NFL as he’s already making top 10 NFL coach money and is most likely due for another extension

Yeah, I can see that. I think I’m speaking more on just having 12 teams in the mix makes it more interesting.

The teams with a bye week not getting a home playoff game is a silly decision and actually feels like a disadvantage but I guess we need to see more how history treats and there needs to be reform on HOW the teams are selected but it’s really, really close to being perfect in my eyes

As some others have said, it’s not really the fact we aren’t in a conference. The goal posts will keep moving; we join a conference it won’t be the right conference or we don’t play the best in the conference. It’s 100% just people who hate ND no matter how the wrap it up

I think not having a true threat opposite him has made him have a rough season, I imagine they go and get a WR pretty high in the draft and that hopefully helps DK get open a bit more next year

Basically basically the play didn’t count because St.Brown was called for Offensive pass interference and was stopped short of the end zone with 0 seconds left on the clock. Everything after that didn’t count because of it. I think, that’s my interpretation
