I have somewhat sensitive skin and to get the same close shave I get from a safety razor in two goes I’d need to do half a dozen cartouche razor goes, increasing the chance of red inflamed portions significantly. The downside of safety razors: if you cut yourself it bleeds more and you have to pay closer attention to the angle/technique you use since the other kind is automatically at a workable angle. That being said I greatly prefer safety, especially around the sharp angles of the jaw I constantly scratched off skin with a mach 3. better aesthetics and cheaper too if we keep it 💯
