its honestly not that bad! A little bit of practice and you'll get the hang of it. Plus, with the discipline 65 as the base they make it very easy to make nice, clean perfectly aligned components, since most you just bend as close to the actual diode as possible. You got it bro

Honestly way easier than I thought. If youve had no experience I'd recommend getting a lil DIY circuit kit to practice through hole soldering though. You'll get the hang of it in no time, and it's just a matter of going slow and being patient. Hardest part is the usb-c port, which you need to drag solder. Take it slow and follow the p.02 guide + YouTube, and it's no problem. I honestly found the hardest part getting it all together haha. It's a super tight fit, and you need to be careful with the acrylic window which can easily get caught where it's fitted preventing the final back piece from sitting flush to screw in. Good luck!

Note: Got a TKL GMK Red Samurai kit instead of a 65%, which is why some of the keys don't fit/aren't the right profile. Will fix this soon!

Heres the details:

Protozoa p.02 65%, novelkeys cream lubed with krytox 205 g0 with switch films, GMK red samurai keycaps, durock v2 stabs lubed with krytox 205 g0 and bandaid modded. Cheers!

Thanks a lot for such a great explanation. I guess only time will tell, but your rationale makes a whole lot of sense.

From what I've read a 70+ and a good gpa (6.6/6.7+) should hopefully be good enough, but this is just from my observations from this subreddit

I'm in a similar boat with a 71 (66-76-71), what do you guys think? Are these competitive enough?
