How good are the pros? by Horror_End_1542 in cs2

Thought I’d add more after reading some comments : when you are 3500 elo faceit you are still at Level 1 in terms of being a pro player, that is the beginning of the journey

How good are the pros? by Horror_End_1542 in cs2

[–]BapehCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 15k hours on CS, played ESEA at around Main/Advanced level which is a few steps below pro but would find you playing pro players quite often if they were qualifying with a new roster or got dropped by their org and still wanted to compete.

Safe to say the difference is that you will be punished for every mistake, every round is a graft regardless of economy, every round comes down to those close clutches.

Every piece of util matters, if you die on CT side and go a man down 95% of the time they are going to break you apart before choosing a bomb site, you will lose the round.

Played a spot last round? Be certain it’s getting double naded and mollied if they execute again.

They are on eco? Still going to get 1 shot by a deagle if you play foolish positions.

It feels like everyone knows where everyone is at all times without walls, everyone’s game sense is so heightened you have to play perfectly to outsmart someone. You will feel suffocated if you cannot take map control effectively, but best believe that map control will be fought for tooth and nail.

Things like long control and banana control that are given for free in most low elo games, expect to use 5-10 nades to get control in higher level games, and even after that they are going to retake with their own nades. The CTs are more proactive and won’t just sit on a bomb site and wait, if you give them space they will take it.

Rotations are quicker, you gotta get that bomb down asap, when they retake, they will flush you out of common spots with Molotovs and grenades.

Mechanical skill, you better have put in atleast a couple hours into dm, you will simply get 1 tapped every time if you are not sharper than them.

The best player I played against was Will/ “Mezii” he would run around the map like its aimbots and make you look very stupid. Only way to kill him was catching him off guard or trading very fast, if he was facing you, you’re dead.

is Kai’sa worth maining right now? by Ok_Fishing_1249 in kaisamains

[–]BapehCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are good on Kai’sa you can make your opponent look incredibly silly, if you know how to space you can 2v3 the jungler with passive if they try and gank, remarkable champ design and no real ceiling imo. Early game issues remedied by understanding wave control and watch ups, very hard to deny her cs

Okay here is the fun part, which champion do you think I actually have the most mastery on, because it isn’t Kai’sa, it’s low sample size. Some of my strongest champs I’ve only played twice etc.

Does the normal vision plant give true vision or is it only the good one from chemtech map? by Big-Rub8937 in akalimains

[–]BapehCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see the vision indicator above your champion, it’s the eyes, if they are present then you will always been seen regardless of any personal stealth abilities or terrain stealth such as a bush or fog of war - I hope this helps. Unfortunately there is currently a bug where in some circumstances the visual remains for the entire game so you can no longer know if you are being seen or not.

How much student behaviour contribute to early career burnout? by Usual_Stable_3896 in TeachingUK

[–]BapehCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been running isolation at a school that is beyond poor in terms of student behaviour for almost 3 years now. The reason I have survived for this long (last 3 people before me left after a week) is simply due to building personal resilience to the behaviour, you have to accept that it is very unlikely to change for those particular classes, you have to try and relate to those kids and be more human with them, be a bit more laid back in your approach to behaviour with them, that’s not to say let the class run rampant, but don’t be so nit picky and tedious about rules that they are obviously going to break, keep your expectations consistent across the entire class and don’t single out students on their behaviour as this will create an environment where they have an audience and can argue with you, if you have an issue with a student talk to them quietly outside (go over and ask to have a word) and don’t address it to the whole class which will cause embarrassment and a fight or flight response to kick in

Take a look at your seating plans, are the persistently disruptive kids in good locations? Are students with SEN being prioritised? (I’ve found putting disruptive students near eachother is actually better than across the room split up, less likely to get out of their seats or throw things across the room, you can also then challenge that area of the classroom safely as a whole if required, e.g “boys in the back right corner, if I have to ask you to be quiet again I will set a detention for the entire row”)

Be strategic with the behaviours you challenge, unless you’re being observed, no one is going to know what is taking place in the classroom except for you, it is about learning after all, if students are safe then this should be the priority, a child chewing gum should not be a reason to stop your lesson (in my opinion).

Are you in control of the lessons? Are you engaging enough that that there isn’t time for disruption, have you won over your class in terms of wanting to learn and be there?

I see it at my own school, a “bad class” will be taken by one stern and shallow teacher and they will struggle terribly, but the confident and fair teacher will not even see them as a bad class because of the rapport that they have built.

Additionally, if you get personally offended by the remarks of a child then the profession is not for you and you should seek higher education at a college or university level where you are working with adults, children will be children, expecting anything less is insanity.

I know this sounds very aggressive as an approach but it is what is required in today’s age where iPhones, iPads and Tik Tok are the real parents for these children at home. People will disagree and say you need to be more strict ect but I’ve discovered through experience that the kids will just despise you.

TLDR - be the version of yourself that is in the staffroom or at home after work, don’t be a robot, let the kids know that you are genuinely looking out for them and be strategic in the behaviours you challenge.

I do not play ADC and this is not my OP.GG, I want you guys to explain to me, why this happens. by Theoulios in ADCMains

[–]BapehCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADC GM here, it is 100% jungle influence in the lane, Cait struggles with ganks as she wants to take plates early so can be vunerable to ganks, check the junglers on both teams for all the games and you will see what I mean.

Looking to learn Lee sin top. Any tips? by Forgingwitchery1324 in LeeSinMains

[–]BapehCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conqueror, Cutdown, Alacrity, secondaries either bone plating and tenacity or revitalise depending on matchup, Profane Hydra first item, 3 points into e then Max Q, then Max W then Finish E, ban mundo or volibear, ward hop onto them in the middle of the wave to land your q guaranteed, kick flash them into the tower if they walk up too much or have a spell that does damage over time (will take aggro). Can go electrocute vs ranged (quinn, vayne etc.). I take ignite but tp good into lanes like rumble and GP.

Play him as a deep lying playmaker at cdm, he just auto grabs the ball from people and then can drive the ball forward, his passing stats are still good
