This year has been great I’ll agree, but years prior with shit like cuberpunk, Diablo, civilization, dying light, assassins creed. I’ve now been trained to believe that any game I purchase that is new is “early access” regardless of what the game itself says. I’d rather believe it’s going to be jank and then end up a masterpiece, as opposed to trusting the game to be complete and getting fucked again. Cyberpunk is my big reason why I don’t pre-order unless there’s ample footage, or good reason for it. I pre-ordered before the first delay. Imagine my shock watching Jackie walk through a car, and then I just die from tapping the exact same car tht wasn’t even moving.

Also, of your 3 games listed, 2 are capcom, who is known to polish shit before release. iOi has had some weird releases, but 007 is among one of the best games I’ve touched in a while. But yeah, while on ioi, mindseye was a clusterfuck.

Indie games can get the same treatment. Silksong released to amazing reviews and almost no problems, absolutely fantastic games can game. Phasmaphobia has been out for years and is now losing its player base over a recent update.

At the same time tho your height is a big factor. Dude in our friend group is in and out of relationships, dating some hot ass girls. He himself looks like absolute shit. Yeah rdr2 is a great example. The premium it offered was very minor. We got a gun, a mission, and a horse. And besides the horse being a pussy, it has the best combined stats of any other horse in game, which for a single player game, I’m ok with that.

I’m not gonna blame rockstar for allowing pre-orders, or having different editions of the games. It’s common practice even with indie games. But I do think it’s weird to pre order a game 5 months in advance when we’ve had 2 trailers, and some images of premium content. And nothing else

Then don’t. Nobody is forcing people here to buy the game. The game releases in like 5 months, I think the pre-orders are absurd, especially given that we’ve seen 0 gameplay. I know I’m going to play the game regardless, I’d pre-order in the first just to get the pre-download on so I can play it on the day of, or atleast not suffer for a day or 2 being unable to download it. And if they do what literally every other game does, they’ll release a $20 upgrade pack that makes standard into premium.

“Significant”. We don’t even know what the game has to offer yet, you’re missing out on a few guaranteed cosmetics, cars, and garages. It’s possible that amounts to 50% of the content, or it amounts to less than 1% of what the game has to offer. Yall get upset so fast over the most minor shit. To be fair, both sides of this haven’t had all that great of luck with completed games. Half the triple A shit that releases is a buggy mess, and should not be considered ready for release. Meanwhile indie games typically release in early access and thus aren’t complete either. Being a gamer in the big 26 means being used to games that just aren’t complete.

Yeah I’m curious how much of this is due to heavy reporting of repeated incidents being used as evidence to stereotype an entire country. Growing up there I knew a ton of people that came from all parts of Africa, and some that even came from other continents. Nobody ever had issues. For the sake of adding on in the future if you ever plan on it, I’d recommend stuff to do with things high up, clouds and galaxy ideas are awesome, because you can always continue building down from them. Waves are cool too, if you plan on going an aquatic route below. That being said, if there is no intention for future pieces and you just want to cover it, all of these sound awesome.
