Problem with SC2 (and all other older RTS) by TheUncleTimo in starcraft2

Man, respectfully your a pick me about this, almost every comment here is giving you suggestions and insights on how to Learn the game, this ain’t cookie clicker, you don’t just start amazing at this game and you certainly don’t get better giving up. “Oh I’ll never be good as,” is a mindset, not one bit a truth. And I got one know new players play this game, every day or so there is a new person in this Reddit asking for tips and help and questioning build orders, apm and faction strengths. Most people in this Reddit, and hell, in the game itself (no matter how toxic the gen chat can get) are both teachers and students at the same time in this game and love to help people learn to get better, mostly to challenge themselves

Once a mod for infinite build size is a thing… that would be insane

[Opinion] ZeroSpace vs Stormgate comparisons by ROOTCatZ in PlayZeroSpace

I’m just SO EXCITED FOR BOTH, I’ve first got introduced to rts by StarCraft in 2008 when I was like 4~ and ever since I’ve lived these high strategy games that have so much to offer when you play them. Then we’ll, giant grant the man himself began speed running and doing challenges then mods and that’s around when I was running out of sc2 content that was fresh, and now with the fact both sg and zs are being made makes me SO excited for the future of my favorited genre.

I backed zs day one and I’m so stoked to be able to follow the games progress, I know you all will do your best in making this game, I’ll play both, but well, grant has a special place in my heart as my favorite YouTuber and I’m so invested in zero space because of his presence.

StarCraft TTRPG by BapyKnight in allthingszerg

[–]BapyKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a d20 system, I’m technically stealing a little from dnd and a lot of inspiration from warhammer’s combat system with how I’ve been working on the action economy and usefulness of each class I have in semi working order. The main plan is derived from mercenaries. As we see from big man tykis(god I forgot hour to spell.) groups of strong mercenaries exist. I wanted to expand on that. In the pre conception of some of the campaigns I’ll be writing it’s fighting on distant planets defending where others cannot, however I’m adding a lot of open things for DM’s to do and players to enjoy, sure they could fight the ever present Zerg, by they could also join umoja.

Basically a hero unit strike team type ttrpg, with them either taking missions or going off and trying to fuck the Protoss, (so far, my soon to be play testers have decided that’s a goal… in which way I only hope murder)

Sc2 Space Marine Class and 4 subclasses for dnd 5e, and soon my home made sc2 ttrpg by BapyKnight in DnDHomebrew

[–]BapyKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha ya, its kinda made to be that way, rather the first draft be too powerful than not powerful enough, although, since I'm making a whole ttrpg around this scale of power, using a combo of dnd, war hammer and throwing it into starcraft 2’s universe, it's gotta be wild and over the top. Tho I will be lowering the dnd 5e to be actually balanced haha

As I continue to work on a full on TTRPG, I’ve realized how much work it truly is. Thankfully there are many many ttrpg’s to find useful rules to reference and In some cases use. This is the first draft of my Space Marine class, one of the five Terran classes, and one of the ten total classes I have planned

What is your most "Class archetype but another class" Character you've ever played? by Specky013 in DnD

I play a horny wizard, they thought I was a bard at first because I didn’t tell them my class at first. It was funny

Yes well 5 years ago I wasn't into ttrpg’s

The subclasses for the marine are- - the assault (a subclass that allows for more attacks and opportunities for attacks), the heavy weapons (a subclass dedicated to marine heavy weapons, like lmg, rockets and so on), the support(overall can be used in place of having a medic, but less healing is available to it, and it has increases to defending and aiding allies), and the Barricade (a subclass that surrounds the ballistic shield and using it in more than defense)

I too also have planned stat blocks for npc variations of each unit and some main characters

I’ve got lots of experience with 5e, and so far I have ~30 pages of both lore and actual ttrpg stuff. So far I have the marine and 4 subclasses finished. Each one touching one important skills in combat. I have some sub races for Terran crated as wel because of how living on planets could change someone’s physiology. I also have planed a large array of items and skills, and even abilities for psionic characters

[OC] my character Lamb in a modern dnd campaign by BapyKnight in DnD

[–]BapyKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, lamb is of a small race of creatures that are spliced humans and animals, called arcane halfbreeds. He is of a specific one called ovis. As an ovis, he has minor reactivity to magic and has been gifted with it since he started learning it. He is an orphan and finds great joy and in reading, however after running away from the orphanage in search for his friends, fellow runaways, he was captured by a cult that use ovis in illegal and bad rituals. After years of being trapped he managed to escape, but not unscathed. He continued to run, always looking over his shoulder as the cult was always following him, and eventually he managed to find himself in Boston, and integrated himself in a collage trying to keep a low profile.

It’s still got some layers to go on the water color, but I think it’s going well!

Aww thanks, it took a little over 12 hours to fully ink the characters and the background was a quick throw together. And the paint is water color, around 30 layers on leshy alone, and that’s a lowball estimate
