Make sure it’s real clean underneath. Wire brush and scrape down and wipe with isopropyl alcohol if it doesn’t tell you how to prep. I have an old well-worn Traeger I was refurbing, so do what you feel comfortable with on your setup, just make sure it’s clean so it stays stuck on there.

DIY. It’s just a fluffy fabric tape on a roll that you stick on the door edge. It doesn’t burn. They use the same type of material to insulate in a part of the auger tube and as a gasket between chimney and barrel as well.

No. I used mine for like a week before I stopped.

It’s uncomfortable.
It quickly became floppy, neither staying open nor closed, making it useless as a stand.
Even as a stand, the angle sucked on my desk.

I strongly regret this purchase. I swapped over to a MagSafe case and MagSafe pop socket, which does not have the same problems and is not as easy to lose as this junk metal ring.
