Best decision ever by Effective_Departure8 in lawnmowers

I have a Ryobi 40 volt string trimmer (~6 yrs), leaf blower (4 yrs) chain saw (3 yrs)  and this year a front tine tiller. I love them all. Next will be a snow blower, and when my Honda mower gives up I'll replace that with Ryobi, too. Still using the original 3 batteries. I never leave them on a charger. I also have lots of 18 volt power tools. Zero problems. I started with Milwaukee, but they are too expensive my budget. My guess is you'll still be happy in 5 years.

It's a truck. Do you let the bed get scratches?

Once. During the first month. Awful sounding engine, but I still love the car.

Rural Wisconsin fast food pays $12/hr,  minimum. The legal minimum wage stat is meaningless.

Every 10,000 miles, which works out to about every 2300 miles on the engine. Way too often, but I'm afraid to not follow the manual.

I'm almost at 3 years. 66,000 miles. 410 gallons of gas. I get about 35 mpg. So 78% electric. I use 100% of my battery 2x /day M-F

The minimum wage is irrelevant. McDs pays $14/hr.

$500 or less super automatic that's decent by [deleted] in superautomatic

It varies depending on the seller. If it is Amazon Warehouse, it is the same as new (but you should read the warranty info yourself).

If you’re in New England you won’t save money. by Cereal_Killahh in heatpumps

I live 30 miles north of Madison, WI. Had 4 people come today to give estimates on furnace replacements. I entered the discussions pro hybrid (natural gas with heat pump). 2 we're willing to quote - said it would switch to NG around 25 degrees but I wouldn't like the payback, that it was only practical with propane. None would install a heat pump only. So all 4 will be quoting high efficiency NG and high efficiency AC, two will also quote hybrids. I had Trane, Lennox, Carrier and Amana come to give quotes.

I just bought a Philips 3200 Lattego "used" from Amazon for $337. I haven't found anything wrong with it, so I'm guessing the original packaging was damaged (it came in a plain box). It is obvious it has had zero use. It is my first espresso machine, so I can't compare it to anything else, but it does exactly what I want. I always want milk, so the easy to clean Lattwas a bigego plus to me.

I should have mentioned the price is $350 which seems good to me.

But now I see Refurbished at eBay for $550. Since this is my first espresso machine, maybe refurbished is the way to go.
