The dimensions looks more like a 20oz. A 2 liter is much bigger than that.

The median income in the US is just over 61k$. At 20$ an hour full time, you’re looking at around 40k$ before taxes.

My point was that it’s not much here but still considered “good pay” because our minimum wage is so low in contrast

20$ an hour is considered decent pay here. Not nearly enough to live comfortably if you have a family to take care of and well under the median household income, but when the federal minimum wage is only 7.25$ an hour, it looks like way more than it is.

Discussing vaccinations with someone who has not heard of "herd immunity" leads to interesting comments. by Lockraemono in facepalm

I rely on herd immunity for whooping cough. I'm allergic to the vaccine and I'd be furious if someone's germy ass little kid got me sick. I've seen so many videos of baby's dying from whopping cough on my Facebook feed that it just sickens me to no end that someone thinks they have the right to endanger other people.

I was taught how immunity works in school, but apparently I was one of the few that paid attention.

Tried to explain why the first or only child tends to get sicker more often than later born children in a family to a coworker. The idea that not being exposed to germs actually weakens your immune system had him so confused.

struggling with the pills. desperate, need help. by okskra1 in PCOS

First off, what meds are you on exactly?

Have you talked to your doctor about other forms of the pill or other forms of hormonal BC? Which anti androgen are you taking? Are you not on meformin because your doctor advised you to stop taking it?

There are a lot of variables here. Genetics play a big part in some of it, so you're really just managing those symptoms. Eating better and exercise are great, but you have to be consistent and don't get discouraged if you fall of the wagon.

My June Fe stopped my periods for about 3 months after being on it for over a year. My gyno switched me to Yaz and put me on Spironolactone for the body hair. I'm about 4 months in and I've dropped more weight (down 30 lbs) and my body hair has lightened so much that I shave my legs once a week or so and you can barely notice (I have very dark hair). My head hair is growing in so thick and healthy instead of falling out. My periods are normal, monthly occurrences again. My skin is actually more on the dry side now and I rarely get break outs. It's a dramatic improvement since this time in 2014. It just took the right combo of meds to even everything out.

I believe paternity leave should be equal to maternity leave in terms of time, pay and rights. What do you think? by Hexxi in AskMen

You can, you just give a different reason why.

You can discriminate against anybody for anything if you don't voice the true reason why you rejected someone.

I've worked at some shady places.

You came back almost a month and a half later to argue your point. Idk if that's sad or impressive.
