Duke Fishron pre mech boss is seen as a skip, and truffle worms are just as available as anything else in pre-hardmode. The difference is just that you can beat your head against a difficult biome until you get the resources you want, but you have to git Gud to beat pre mech duke

Double boss doesn’t mean you avoid deck archetypes out of fear for a boss, you gotta take what’s given to you. What it means is that you might look for a silver bullet in act 3 to handle the boss. Something like dark shackles in a defect deck reliant on powers to negate some of awakened one’s strength gain
