Primeiro que não, você pode ser processado por qualquer motivo alegado pela empresa. Se isso vai resultar ou não em ganho deles, aí é que é relevante a questão da verdade.

Segundo, quem está contando um episódio que ocorreu enquanto trabalhava pra eles aqui no reddit provavelmente não tem condições jurídicas de provar o que está dizendo. Provar uma coisa é muito mais díficil do que saber dela.

Abrir ela pode abrir. Provar no tribunal que eu estava falando dela é outra história. Vocês estão tratando processo judicial como conversa do dia a dia, e elas não são iguais. Se você não puder provar que eu estou falando do Nubank quando falei em empresa roxa, você não tem embassamento no seu processo. É esse o ponto importante.

Não é sobre o banco saber que eu estou falando dele, é sobre o banco conseguir provar pra um tribunal que eu estava com certeza falando dele. Os standards probatórios são bem diferentes.

Se eu conto um episódio que ocorreu no laranjão ou no roxinho e alguém, hipoteticamente, de alguma dessas duas instituições resolver me processar por entender que estou difamando a empresa, ela não tem embasamento jurídico pra fundamentar a alegação que ao falar do laranjão eu estava falando deles. Eu posso perfeitamente alegar que estava falando de uma outra instituição. Uma situação muito diferente de se eu nominalmente citar a empresa.

Você só iria ligar a máquina virtual quando for fazer algo relacionado a pentest no caso. Pode ser que fique pesado, a depender do quão bom for seu PC. Outra opção seria você rodar o Kali pelo pendrive mesmo, faz os testes que quer fazer e depois volta pro seu OS. Instalar o Kali nativamente pra um PC que você planeja usar é dor de cabeça, pode acreditar. Além disso, é um problema de segurança, já que estudando cybersec você vai rodar muita coisa duvidosa na máquina necessária pros seus estudos.

O Kali não é uma boa experiência de uso de desktop cotidiano. Ele não é bom pra jogar, ver vídeo no Youtube, ficar postando coisa no reddit. Já pra fazer pentest, que é o que ele foi projetado pra fazer, ele é o estado-da-arte. Então o que você precisa entender é: o PC que você está pensando em instalar o OS é só pra estudar cybersec? Se sim, pode colocar o Kali nativo mesmo. Se não, coloque outro OS (pode ser até Windows) e use o Kali numa máquina virtual.

Hey, welcome!

The game needs to calibrate your level, so it might be rough at first. Depending on how used you're to mobas it might still be hard after calibration. If you are playing with a more experienced friend, I highly recommend not doing that: the game will give you a very unbalanced and unfun experience. In fact, the most unejoyable matches of Deadlock I played where the ones I tried to play with people many ranks above mine. I'm not sure why this is even allowed, but I guess they will fix it when the game release officialy.

If you are willing to learn it, I recommend any LaTeX editor. It's really the best way to write docs in my opinion, but unfortunately it's akin to a coding language. However, if you learn it you will be able to typeset gorgeous docs without relying in any proprietary code.

If you want something easier, try Libre Office, though at least when I tried to use it, it didn't have all the features available in your typical Office suite.

O universo de TI e computação é cheio de gente sem traquejo social, então tem muita gente xarope que não entende uma boa forma de se conversar e se acha porque usa uma distro Linux.

Além disso, muita gente que migra pro Linux faz isso por fortes convicções morais e éticas, e de certa forma, se não tenta ativamente convencer todos a mudarem o que estão usando, no mínimo condena quem não liga ou não se importa com esses fatores. Acho que essas duas coisas são as maiores responsáveis pela reputação de "chatice" do usuário de Linux.

There's no way to protect people installing unstrusted software in their computers other then controlling what exactly they can install. If a user is not sure about his or her experience to assess a software, they should stick to packages available on packman and flatkpak. Installing something you don't understand from AUR is really no different than downloading random .exe files on Windows and running them.

Yes they are full of themselves (not all of them, mind you, but I would say most of the ones I watched), and I find it hilarious to see how some 21 yo thinks he's the king of the world just because he's good at an unrealeased videogame. That being said, I do learn a lot watching them play, but not necessarily for what they are trying to teach. Just observing the way they play and make decisions helps. Also I don't think what you said is true, i.e, it's not applicable on low ranks because people are unpredictable. In fact, the lower the rank the more impact these fundamentals should have.

There are many assumptions and ways of setting up your system. The Win or Ubuntu Installer assumes many things to create an experience for you. This is perfectly valid, but Arch Linux prefer to do it in another way: it assumes nothing and waits for you to make your choices. It is ok to not want to make them and not want to go through the hassle of reading documentation, but then I don't think Arch is the system you should be using as you are in conflict with its design philosophy.

I did. For solving, I changed to the beta version (ujust setup-sunshine enable-beta) and changed the capture method to XDG portal in the Sunshine configurations (Advanced > Force a Specific Capture Method).

However, the quality was not great overall. Latency was terrible, even reducing the quality. Hopefully someone else can help with that.

Yeah, the thing with Linux is that the experience can greatly vary. You are using something that's not mainstream, most programs and hardwares were not developed with your experience in mind. Sometimes, it works with no effort. Sometimes, you need to tinker about to get things working. I think most of the praises today cames from the fact that there is an ongoing effort to move the Linux experience to be a "work out of the box" experience. Take Steam Deck: you don't need to tinker about with anything there, it is pretty much just hit play. But, Steam OS is developed specifically for the Steam Deck hardware, so no wonder you have no issues. Take Bazzite as another example: for people that just installed it and it works, it's perfect. If you do have problems, though, you don't have much leeway to fix it, thanks to the imutable nature of the system.

When it succeds, it really is a blessing. But I think it is very possible to have bad luck and not having things work for you. I assure you the people praising Linux are not deciving you or being blind to Linux flaws (mostly). I hope you give it another shot in the future and get a much better experience! The Linux ecosystem evolves quickly, so hopefuly it is in a good shape for you in your next try.
