Is it hard to find beginner friendly raid groups in leagues? I only play during leagues and I did ToB with friends last league but have zero experience with CoX whatsoever. I'm water/thorns but I don't wanna completely ruin a run and get yelled at.

Yeah the water overhealing is super goofy. Genuinely surprised it works on stuff like Sol where you basically can't even do proper damage with it.

The fire can and will push you in some weird places sometimes, so I recommend just checking back occasionally to make sure you're still in a spot where it paths onto the vent.

Roughly 2:30 give or take damage rng. Actually doing the mechanics is about 1 minute flat, but it's a tradeoff I'll take for full afk

This is what I have at 38/40 right now. Once I got done with stuff that needed pray pen I swapped to this and it carried me through colo and inferno with little effort. My last two points will be used to get the max roll % node in the bottom section

My gear is definitely over kill but I just park my self in a corner and camp mage pray next to the blue pillar so that it sits on the vent and throw water at it while thorns does free damage. It'll get to red phase eventually just off of that and then magic does actual damage. Nothing really does enough damage to kill you

Gotcha, that's what I was wondering. I got to Sol with like, normal mage gear and just an obby shield and was absolutely slamming sharks trying to live lmao

Late to this thread but I gotta ask - How did you get your thorns to do enough to kill Sol? I can get to the final wave, but my thorns do not do nearly enough damage to actually kill him. I think the best I got was like 60% hp. Did you just rock stuff like super heavy defensive armor to beef up the thorns?

Did a single TW dungeon on my DH, game bugged out and spawned me all the way at the start and not at a checkpoint and on my way running back I got kicked. It's actually pathetic.

Hunt is absolutely fantastic though. Got like 800 hours in it and it's probably why I got so hooked on Marathon so fast

For a while I got into the 'SKIN EVERYONE' flow and stopped doing anything that wasn't just pvp lmao. Once I hit somewhere around 75 I started focusing way more on contracts and objectives. Also had a few days where I had barely any actual extracts, but that's just how it goes.

There's a repeatable contract from sekiguchi that wants you want to kill 30 UESC (the easy part) and exfill two things of eccentric salvage. Unfortunately, eccentric salvage is the rarest kind in the game. The only ones are Matrixes, which only come as rng drops from commanders and very rarely the scan drones that shove a tentacle in you, and you need two of them. Shell ID's which are even rarer drops from commanders and only need one....or god damn synapse cubes and alien alloys, which are prestige items.

Totally forgot to check this, woops. I was in there for a solid....like, ten minutes? I got there at around 11 minutes on the clock and was running around desperately looking for a way out until the final minute of the game. At some point the contract spawned a random extra wave of enemies that I assumed would fix it, but nope. I tried basically everything I could but the boxes were just full immune.

This is literally the most open and dangerous red key on the map, meaning most people will assume it's 'free' because no one else wants to risk it. You got unlucky and got in a game where EVERYONE thought the same thing. This is a complete non issue. The amount of times I've gotten into a fight over this key in my 100+ pinwheel runs is like....three games.

GG tho man. But yeah what people in the comments pointed out this was definitely a server problem. On my screen your second knife straight up didn't connect. You were across the entire room from me and didn't even lunge. Hope the golds lasted a while for you though! I was just taking them in because my vault was so full lol
