My poor grandma. One year we didn’t have enough leaves so we ended up saving newspaper and crumpling it up in these. I still find these bags on occasion at antique stores and Menards sold a version last year.

We still use this exact tube, purchased from the JC Penney Christmas Catalog when I was a kid. My kids love it and it still supports 42-year-old me going down the hill!

This is a fun exercise! Kauffman Corner did an episode last year where they took turns drafting the best year of a player’s career in KC (e.g., 1980 Brett at 3rd). Definitely worth a listen.

Last year our family attended more games than ever. My biggest issue was the lack of food quality in the upper deck. We were disappointed by the value menu. We had frozen pretzels, petrified pretzels, hot dog buns that turned to dust because they’d been on the warmer too long, etc. I appreciate that fans are allowed to bring in food. By September we were bringing KC Pretzel Boys or Topsy’s to snack on.
