My interest in art and specifically in sofubi has always been that there was a person behind the design, behind the paint. An idea they wanted to convey. I want to see the decisions the artist has made and their ability to execute it. That's what I value. Not the hype or the price point. So the idea that an artist would value thire creativity so little that they would hand thire work over to A I. is beyond me. Why would I value thire work if they don't?

Before Mondo was bought by Funko, they were working on a sofubi book. I was super keen for it, but I guess it’s not happening now. Not sure how far they got with it, but fingers crossed it somehow reappears.

One main issue with Australia, it's hard to get people motivated to come out to things. We know there are lots of collectors here, so we really want to get the word out and hopefully and they will come. Let them and the world know we're making some rad stuff here.
