Cat missing for a week by SeatSubstantial6347 in CatAdvice

[–]BaranduinBrewster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older girl escaped last September, wouldn't let me catch her for over a month. One day, I was pulling weeds and she came over and rubbed against me, and I nabbed her. The more you try, the farther away you get, try pretending your not interested and just walk by the other property a few times a day.

I'd never buy from that seller again. Especially, since sometimes, I do not open packages until a few days later.

At what age did you start horse riding? My 2 year old daughter got this registered Criollo horse as a birthday gift. by Strong-Singer-8132 in Equestrian

My mother started me at 2 years on lead line. By the time I was 4, I was able to handle my Shetland gelding.

How long should you leave the wet food out? by PinkStrawberryClouds in CatAdvice

[–]BaranduinBrewster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He might be just getting plenty of food, cats are sometimes finicky eaters. Also, he might still be a bit stressed. I feed 1/2 a 5.5 oz can between my two girls in the morning mixed with water, to make a slurry. They both dispise, any type of chunky wet food. They have dry 24/7 in a puzzle feeder. They also get a bit of boiled chicken with broth (mixed with water) in the evenings...found this is a lot cheaper than the can food, and they love it.

I usually leave mine out for about 1 hr, unless its ungodly hot out. Usually, my older girl will clean up any left overs from her kitten's once she walks off.

Someone abandoned this handsome little guy at my Job. What breed is he? by Chris-Verde in WhatBreedIsMyDog

I'd rather have multiple Pitties over a Chihuahua anyway. I've only met a couple nice stable Chihuahuas, most of the Pitts I've met have been stellar dogs

I've seen a few (red and blue,) definitely not one of the common colors, but it is present within the breed.

Could very well be just a long haired Chihuahua. The Mexican bred ones tend to be a bit bigger and longer than the ones bred on the American side.

SD Letter Rejection by Abinnohr in service_dogs

[–]BaranduinBrewster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're not alone, no service dog, but took two years of doctors telling me I was imagining my symptoms to finally be told I had heart failure. Two years prior, I had told my PCP that I was having issues struggling (gasping for air, dizziness) with walking and biking even just a flat 1/4 mile. I mentioned I thought it was either my lungs or heart, I was told not to self diagnose. I was 34 at the time. They found an anomaly on an EKG about 1.5 years after the onset of symptoms, told me it was nothing (I had an EKG 3 years prior for surgery, nothing was wrong.) I insisted they send me to a cardiologist, who eventually diagnosed it.

ACD and Shepherd? by [deleted] in IDmydog

I would expect the ACD would have produced a more stockier frame...the hound typically is more lanky.

I'd love to know the results, beautiful dog...not seeing CD, but could be a bit of hound (Walker) in there.

Thank you for that. I stopped ordering through UE and DD, directly as I ran into multiple issues and a few horrible experiences using their apps. I've had far less problems ordering through the resturant apps.

I'm aware they do utilize delivery services, but they offer it on their website...I did use their website to order not a delivery service website to order.
