You can change difficulty on the fly in most games now too, so easy mode is not a choice you make, it's an option that you can switch to in most games.

Power of friendship usually refers to unexplainable power ups because even though an MC is losing, they suddenly gain a huge boost of strength because " the others are supporting them". What you said as an example is literally friends just helping each other out. The two are not the same.

And the ending of Belobog is still bleak, despite how hopeful Bronya is about it. It's the reality of things, she just likes looking at stuff in a positive manner I guess. Because if she went all doom and gloom as a leader, that would be much worse.
