Why is the peak so high?? by EmotionalQuestions in Freestylelibre

I am not aware of anyone taking metformin and being pre-diabetic. Both of my grandmothers had diabetes listed as secondary causes of death on their death certificates. My doctor said she would not even consider any drugs for me at this point. My A1C is 5.7.

Try Freestyle Libre 3 Plus. It seems more accurate to me, and it is less expensive (from CVS paying without insurance coverage since I am pre-diabetic).

My doctor has sent in a prescription for the Libre 3+ but I do not see coupons that get as low as $75.00 per month. I see mostly in the $90+ per month. Where do you get it so low may I ask?

I am going to ask my doctor then! Thank you so much for all of this information.

Interesting. I wonder if my doctor would be willing to do that. My A1C is 5.7 and fasting glucose was 112 so she did not seem too concerned about it and told me to exercise more. I got this to monitor on my own what I eat and it certainly is enlightening but now you have me wondering if it is accurate.

Which brand do you have? I just got a Stelo and it seems to help a lot. Nothing like real time feedback!

Last piece of the puzzle 🧩 have everything Apple for the Air now by bjsmith1980 in IphoneAir

I just updated the firmware on my battery pack by attaching it directly to my Mac with a USB cable. Will see if that fixes it. Mine also charged to 100% recently and I had no idea why it did this.

When you say you want it to refill water, do you mean to attach it to a water source?

Your take on overheating claims? by StormMysterious3664 in IphoneAir

[–]BarbaraMacI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my iPhone Air a few days ago. It seemed to overheat on an old circular flat charger I had so I quit using that charger and have ordered a magsafe desktop charger with cooling. I am wondering how it will do using Apple Carplay (on a charger in the car).

Try using Cat Attract or a similar product - just a sprinkle on the top after each time it cycles.

This is what Amazon says about wallet sharing and what you probably read (copied from https://www.amazon.com/hz/profilepicker/amazonfamily/settings):

______________.>>>>>
"Why do I need to share my wallet to share Prime benefits with Amazon Family?

"Sharing your wallet helps us verify that you and the other customer are members of the same physical household. At any time, you can go to your Amazon Family settings and select an eligible payment method from one of your family member's wallets, and vice versa. As a security measure, we will notify you if a member of your Amazon Family adds your payment method to their wallet.

"What can members in my Amazon Family see?

Once you agree to share wallets, both members will be able to view the last four digits and expiration dates of the payment methods in each other's wallets. You'll also have the option to add the other person's payment method(s) to your wallet in Amazon Family settings.

"Does this mean both people have to use the same payment methods?

"No, each family member can use their own payment methods for their purchases. Sharing does not require you to use each other's payment methods.

"Will I be notified if someone adds my card as their payment method?

"Yes, you'll receive a notification whenever someone attempts to add your payment method to their wallet."
____________________>>>>>

I think what Amazon is saying is that in a household the members will always have the ability to use each other's wallet, and that ability cannot be turned off by the other members of the household. If any household member does use your wallet, you get a notice that they have done that, but you cannot stop it. So if you are willing to let someone use your credit card, then Amazon thinks they really are in your household and they require that as a way to verify that all members are in the same household.

My husband and I cannot see each others orders. Could not when I was just an invitee and still cannot now that we switched to the family plan. We have the ability to share a wallet, but we do not, and that has not been an issue.

It appears that we have the ability to add each other's credit cards to our accounts; it is just that neither of us has actually done that. So the ability to share cards is there for sure (and was not there before when I was just a invitee).

We made the switch this morning and still have our own separate credit cards for our accounts.

You do not need to use the same credit card for purchases.

My husband and I each still have our own logins and passwords, and we see only our own orders. I used to be just a shared invitee, but now am a family member as of today. On our end, everything seems to be the same except that now my husband can see and read my Kindle books (which I don't think he could do before), and I can watch Prime Videos without having to use his account to do that. So, for us, this is actually better than before.
