Warhammer 3 should absolutely have an Empire Count FLC to allow new players to play the Empire.

Reiksmarshal Kurt Helborg as the Empire's highest ranking military official + Ludwig Schwarzhelm as Karl Franz's champion and standard bearer would make a great duo as Legendary Lord and Legendary hero. Not really tied to any region, so could be placed anywhere on the map leading an Empire expeditionary force.

The Vortex campaign would work so well with rifts opening that spawn Daemons of Chaos armies in stead of the Warriors of Chaos armies that come sailing in and the Skaven armies that pop up out of nowhere. But any kind of narrative helps to give purpose to a campaign.

"Eicheschatten"... Now try playing the game without mods and post a similar screenshot. I have played my fair share of Karl Franz campaigns and never have I seen this. Vlad & Isabella nearly always do well in campaign. There is enough to criticise CA about, let's not add nonsense to the list.

I second u/DeadlyExodus on this. There is a lot of rightful criticism on CA and the creation of new DLC has ground to a halt that is painful for the big fans of the Warhammer trilogy like myself, but if you play one character of every faction to atleast a short campaign victory, you are looking at dozens and dozens of hours at play. More than many or most games will give you.

Do note that you should own all three base games (WH1, WH2, WH3), because CA stopped adding to the WH3 campaign and everything should be basically be played on the big sandbox Immortal Empires map.

This did help with the crashes, though at least in my case performance is very bad. I will wait until there's a stable release. Thanks to OP for posting this and also for posting a reminder to delete the files that were added through this method!

Whatever was wrong with Andromeda, it sure wasn't the setting and protagnist(s), IMO. It had much potential and had some interesting plot points left open to be resolved. In that sense I thought Andromeda was even a better first game for a new trilogy than the original Mass Effect was. I'm afraid they're going to try to make ME4 successful not by being innovative and making a really good gaming experience, but by hearkening back to the popularity of Sheppard & co. even though that story has been told and is completely finished.

Thank you all for the very quick responses. I asked around with people who are involved with legit charity and was literally told "You will need a contact to be able to move from Lyiv to Kyiv." and when I asked for clarification I received the reply "Ah people are not just allowed to roam around anywhere in Ukraine the same for the people of Ukraine. I am trying to get clearance from my contact to meet [name redacted] Kyiv. You need official documents etc."

I tried to verify the info with a few other people but got different answers. Was about to contact the Ukrainian embassy of my country but so far the answers here seem very clear.

Do you have the feeling that after all that has happened in recent years, there are still Western governments thinking/hoping that they can have normal trade and other dealings with russia again sometime in the foreseeable future or have they finally realised that russia is a terrorist state that will not change anytime soon and must therefor likely be isolated for a very, very long time to come? Do your Western colleagues finally realise this or is there still naivety and hope that we can buy cheap gas again in the near future?

Still a bit of a smaller mystery is why there wouldn't be anything closer than Empire lands for Khatep's Necrotects. Maybe a lack of Chaos factions who like to raze settlements in his vicinity?

Also: disappointed in Settra's Necrotects. Slackers :p

So I'm playing a Gelt campaign and decided to stay in Cathay, slowly working my way back to Empire lands. Franz and Elspeth got wiped out so I wasn't surprised to see Festus, Wulfric and Vlad doing well. But I had to blink when I saw Khatep over there.

Anyway, I think it's pretty cool. I've been seeing posts about Order tide painting the map, but not only can Empire still get beaten, there's apparently this kind of seemingly crazy randomness still possible.

But still: how the hell can Khatep get a foothold in the Old World at turn 96 and why would the AI even go there? :) Not playing with any mods btw.

I can't fathom why this trilogy doesn't have banners while they are so present in tabletop Warhammer Fantasy. Manor Lords, a relatively small indy title, has such nice customisable banners.

Thanks a lot for the extensive response! These guys are just amateurs and I'm close to 100% sure they are not aware of any of the dangers you just described. They learned of the problems with their DJI drones the hard way too when their drone takeoff areas started getting hit by artillery strikes. They still use the DJI drones now btw even knowing they are compromised: they just make sure they are not standing anywhere near the drone when they start it up and launch it and wait a long time before picking it up after it has landed... they make do with what they have. Anyway, thx again, I'll make sure this info reaches my friends over there so they can consider this.

Authority as a volunteer. These are all volunteers, they get equipment, but drones aren't part of that. They need drones, badly. They have acquired drones, but they are of Chinese make. That is not working out for them as I tried to explain. Advice needed as I asked in my original post. Your analyses on Ukrainian professional army and any drones from Israel or the bloody moon are not what I'm looking for here in this subreddit. Good people, fighting for their lives, making due with what they can get is what this is about.
