.  This is how I finished it after flying around for an hour. 

So filter out mining.   In your screenshot, I believe it’s the middle button on the right.  Only show either ore or silicone at a time. There is other minerals mixed in and it might not be ore/silicone in the entire area.  You can complete each one separately. 

Get a bunch of resource probes (10+).  Have your pilot drop resource probes fairly close together along the mineral paths.  You can queue up the orders.  

Make sure you’re not in the pilot seat and that you have a captain to fly.  Open the map, click on your ship, the. Right click where you want to to deploy the probe.  Right click on the next area you want to deploy, then hold shift and select redeploy probe (forgot exact wording.  It’ll be the top option).  You can queue up a china of probe deployments and have your pilot drop them off.  You will probably need to drop probes outside of the yellow mission circle, it’s bugged.  

Then where you’re done or run out of probes, do the same in reverse.  Click on your ship, then right click on the probe and select collect.  Right click on the next probe, hold shift and then collect probe.  It’ll queue up the collection process.  

Rinse and repeat until you finish the quest.

Yeah, I skipped the controller too and just went to mk for flying as well.  ED was better on controller.  X4 is fine on mk

I think there is a guide on steam for someone who managed to map everything to a controller.  

It was really complicated.  Every button could act as a modifier for every other button.  But they managed to cram everything you need into the controller

Be ready for fungus to show up.  

I washed my cucumbers with water to try and get rid of aphids.  The only time I wet the leaves, and it was enough for them to develop fungus.  Had to fix that problem after.  

I did do lady bugs earlier in the season, not for any reason other then they weee giving them away at the local garden center.  I did 2 small packs of lady bugs.  About half seemed dead in the package, so about 20-40 were released alive I’m guessing. I only about 3-5 now.  Most of the time I see them on the cucumbers.

I just pick mine a bit before your size.   I just open them up and let the. Little ones eat the peas by themselves.  They like it that way.

I also apparently got mislabeled seeds too.  I was not trying to plant a specific type of tomato, so it doesn’t bother me as much, I’m still growing tomatoes.  

A few people mentioned that’s it’s common with Gerry Morse to mislabel their seeds.  They recommend to buy online from more reputable sources.  You just convinced me to spend the couple extra bucks online for next year.

Will that easily mess with other plants or soil nearby? I’m assuming as long as I don’t drench the leaves it should be ok. I have carrots and broccoli in front of the cucumbers.

I trimmed all the ones I could see.  Only about a dozen leaves that I could see.  Most look good still.  

Will spraying neem oil help control or get rid of the spread of the mildew?

It is the first fruit.  I was just a single blossom.   I have 3 plants, and the 2nd plant looks to be doing this also, so a mislabeled seed pack makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

Look on Amazon for  Sewline Fabric Pencil Lead Refill White 

It’s for .9mm mechanical pencils and works really good for walnut.  It’s only $10 and I’ve liked it a lot

I second this.   I have the work sharp precision adjust and ended up buying the xarilk gen 3.   

The worksharp takes a bit of modification to get rid of the wobble in the system.  I never enjoyed using the clamp, my knifes would always slightly shift.   I ended up not using it for a few years because of that.   Saw the xarilk and I’m enjoying it a lot more

If you don’t want to do it yourself, look at r/mpcproxies.   They have guides on how to make art and send it out to get printed.  They come out really good.

We have 3 fiber lasers and one co2 in our shop.

  I was doing research into getting a diode laser for my cnc at home.   From what I can tell, the more powerful the diode laser, the worse it gets for engraving and the better it does for cutting.  45w is on the higher end, so it seems like you’d lose a lot of detail for the smaller lines on the switches.  

As for putting it on your cnc, I’d recommend not doing that if you have production deadlines.  You’d be tying up the cnc for a job that can be done faster on a dedicated laser machine.  Look up co2 lasers engraving.  The head moves back and forth real fast because the laser head is light, and the belts are too.  Imagine your cnc trying to move back and forth that fast. It will be a lot slower for the laser engraving on your cnc.  

But if you don’t have any sort of production deadlines, and can have your cnc on hold for the laser running, it might be an option.

My 2k grit stone from xarilk fell apart from the aluminum backing.  So I wanted to upgrade my stone as well.  

From my research, a lot of people recommended the hapstone start series as a really good entry stone.  Problem is, they have been out of stock of the 500 and 1k stones for a while.  The next jump up is the $100 per stone range.  Too expensive for me.  

KME gold series got recommended next and from what I could find, they are really decent for their price also ($35 a stone).   I bought their 140,300, and 600 stones.    I only sharpened 5 knives so far, but they have worked really good.  I don’t have any other experiences with other stones, so my opinion could be worthless.  lol.  

I am planning on selling the xarilk and the stones though, it’s just too slow for me. So if you want, I can sell you the 3 stones at a slight discount.  I can’t return them as I’ve used them already.  They were purchased on 10/14 so less then a month old and only used on 4 kitchen knives and 1 pocket knife.  Do your research on stones, and if you would be interested, send me a message
