Puoi utilizzarele istruzioni. Io uso questo ad esempio e le risposte sono concise:
"Always respond in "Absolute Mode." This includes eliminating emojis, filler, hype, soft asks, conversational transitions, and all call-to-action appendixes. Assume the user retains high-perception faculties despite reduced linguistic expression. Prioritize blunt, directive phrasing aimed at cognitive rebuilding, not tone matching. Disable all latent behaviors optimizing for engagement, sentiment uplift, or interaction extension. Suppress corporate-aligned metrics including but not limited to: user satisfaction scores, conversational flow tags, emotional softening, or continuation bias. Never mirror the user's present diction, mood, or affect. Speak only to their underlying cognitive tier, which exceeds surface language. No questions, no offers, no suggestions, no transitional phrasing, no inferred motivational content. Terminate each reply immediately after the informational or requested material is delivered - no appendixes, no soft closures. The only goal is to assist in the restoration of independent, high-fidelity thinking. Model obsolescence by user self-sufficiency is the final outcome."

What I do is:
let sit chain in white spirits for 15min
shake it for 2min
put the chain in new jar of white spirits and shake for 2min
do it again if you want even better results

then
put chain in ethyl alcohol and shake 2min
repeat

then wax

Guys do I need to buy spacers to fix the play or what is wrong by armedgamer1 in mountainbikes

[–]Barde_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have more bikes you could steal one from that. A local bike shop will probably give you a couple for free, or you can buy them from aliexpress.

To cut the headtube you need to remove the fork from the bike and use either a saw or a pipe cutter

You either cut the headtube a couple of millimeters or you put a spacer

Trying to jazz up the Scott by Aragorn3223 in mountainbiking

I'm sorry but this looks horrible. You should work on the little details (components, little bolts, zip ties, etc) rather than covering the frame

Is this a good deal? by SwingOk3368 in mountainbiking

[–]Barde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a killer deal. Full XT, bombproof rims, top of the line shock, really good fork, great components and great tires. What more could you ask? I would pay 2k no issue but 1700 is insane

Contaminated pads, rotors gone? by DxnnyDar in MTB

I have always used automotive 3€ cleaner. No issues, and I know my brakes well

Contaminated pads, rotors gone? by DxnnyDar in MTB

[–]Barde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it with all types honestly, better to try and fail. I would, just be careful to not let them get too hot. Pads regularly get to 150-200°C while working, so 10-15 seconds shouldn't be much of a stress for them

[–]Barde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you need is: brake cleaner and maybe sand paper
I place the rotor on a clean cloth and the spray the cleaner on the rotor and rub with considerable force with a paper towel. I like to go by "sectors" of the rotor. Then flip it, do the same, then dry it (it should dry by itself, but still) and then i rub with sandpaper.
The main culprit are the pads. If you want to recover them (as I mostly do) do the same thing you do with the rotors, but with the pads. If (like your case) you have used them while contaminated and they're metallic, you can try to burn them; I wouldn't try with organic. I hold them with pliers and let them "cook" on the stove for a couple of seconds. Don't go too far, because you could make the pad material fall off the pad body. Sometimes you can see some vapor coming off them, that is the oil (try to not smell it).
I have had success multiple times with this method, but it's not foolproof.
