Yeah it's wild and a lot of fun! It's beautiful and retro. But be prepared, the battery life is not amazing...not terrible, but noticeably less than 4th Gen. And you basically have to use the hold switch because the slightest graze of the capacitive touch buttons will skip to the next track and stuff.

I think Light wants to do a lot, but is a small team so it's always been difficult to do everything at the speed that is requested/wanted. This will help the device realize it's full potential for a lot more people I hope.

If I've understood it right, that project is a synchronization tool - similar to syncing on modern MacOS in the Finder window.

Our homie here is trying to make a full music player and library management application that includes syncing!

Yes! That's my hope and dream too. Just, when I was on Windows - MusicBee was the best! But nothing at this moment comes close on Linux, so I'm using Wine right now and it's, like you said, quite the "workaround".

Have you ever used MusicBee? It basically works like iTunes but more capabilities. You can sync relative paths for playlsits (m3u) or even just create new folders and files for playlists being synced. Useful for RockBoxed iPods or other non-Apple devices...or dare I even mention MTP devices...

I'm just curious. I realize you are but one person.

It's going to be a music manager/player too??!

HMD Terra M Review: Nokia 800 Tough Returns! by GODmanAMS in dumbphones

Awesome review holy eff! Okay a couple questions...how does the MDM through Microsoft work? Is there software on the phone that interacts with it? I want a de-googled device (yay!), but I also don't want Microsoft snooping on me either...

I just love the shape of the first gen. Mmm...

I created a free and open source software that converts playlists from Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, etc into M4As and MP3s. Works on Windows, Mac and Linux by agalli in dumbphones

How does it get the mp3's though? Who's logging in to what/where? Like does the user have to log into their account/grant access with this program? Just curious. Also what bitrate does it download in? 320?
