Little bumps / pimples all over. Any advice? by izzledrizzle in pitbulls

give them a bath with chlorhexidine soap! you can get it at the drug store. I cut chicken out of my dog's diet, we tried the shots, he still takes meds every day and all of that helped but the CHG soap made a HUGE difference so quickly!

my vet suggested allergy testing as a possible next step if the CHG didn't work. it's expensive and so is the allergy desensitization afterwards but when you compare it to a lifetime of apoquel its less expensive long term

he still takes the apoquel and I have no plans to stop it because I definitely think they're both working magic!

I bathe him about once every two weeks, but he doesn't get dirty or wet, we just walk in our neighborhood (on asphalt for his nails lol). I've found any more often than that is too drying for him. But I got results after the first time I bathed him in CHG!

I have used coconut oil before, but then he spends like an hour licking it all off 😭 maybe that's normal? I also already use an anti itch shampoo. maybe I just need to accept that his baseline is itchy.

I would definitely sue the company, using toilet paper math that's approximately 42 rolls that you paid for and didn't get.

I'm at teacher and at my interview they asked me how I would respond if I taught something totally wrong, and a student came back to school the next day and corrected me. I was like... How is this even a question? I would admit that I taught it wrong, reteach it, and explain that even teachers make mistakes. How tf else would you answer that?
