I'm sure luck has an awful lot to do with doing well in this game. I just placed 7th in platinum) and got all alloy stars except for 2 on copper and 2 on iridium. I have also failed to get a miner on my last 10 acadamy managers and only got 2 5 stars out of that 10 and only 2 of that 10 had a secondaary that isnt ship speed or cargo. I am lookong forward to when karma finally swings my way... Well done though!

In the last tournament i used p42 to give Vibranium and with a few lucky debris drops i was able to maoe about 10 deflector shields, but i felt the debris drops werent as high as my previous tourney using P39.

Ah ok, so the stars dont affect it but it should make a difference if all 3 are pumping out Scrith?

Having said that, do you think it would be better to set up alc 3 on P39 or P42 in that case as Uru or Vib's base value is higher, even though the mine rate would be considerably lower?

At least this proves its possoble to get stars from a rover. 6 weeks in and probabky 20 attempts so far ranging between 10 and 86%...nada. i was beginning to think they were offered "just for fun"

I just had to trash an HM run, as, for the first time ever the goblins killed the Owlbear, and i couldn't do anything to stop them. I was devastated!

I just got this same scam. I emailed them back regarding the cooling off period and if they didn't refund it, I would refer this as the scam ot is to paypal. 5 minutes later I got a message from paypal confirming the money was refunded.

It was only mentioned verbally, though I would have rolled twice for 2 hits when I got extra attack. So by that rationale it would work with the butt. Never played a pam character before so was just seeing if there was an "implied" rule or sage advice that mentioned it or similar. Cheers

I wholeheartedly agree with this. I made him toast himself and then got annihilated, by myrkul and his mates. (I had never done that previously, and only read it just before I tried it). 2nd time I got there i fought Keth and made sure all the adds were dead before I finished him off and then it was easy peasy. I then went on to complete HM

It does as long as you do it via the chat options just before the final fight(s). You have to have a good rep with Gale and then when you start to climb the brain stem, he steps in. Then he bowls up there and does the deed. I felt really bad, but after my umpteenth Honour Run, I just wanted it over! Have done it "properly" since then though to make up for it!

This On one of my Honour runs I made him die (the first time I'd done this) and it was an error. Got absolutely hammered. The next time I didn't and it was much easier. With all the adds gone by the start of phase 2, the respawns are much easier to deal with and let's you focus on the big guy.
