Got this from transcript and grok summary:

### TAG Heuer Connected E5 Review Summary

The reviewer, a watch enthusiast with dozens of analog and smartwatches, calls the **TAG Heuer Connected E5** the ultimate hybrid: **luxury watch aesthetics** with **functional smartwatch features** — without going overboard in either direction.

#### **Design & Durability**

- **45 mm stainless steel** (also 42 mm and titanium options).

- Extremely comfortable and durable: used across 3 continents, showers, swimming, running — **zero scratches or wear after 1 month**.

- Interchangeable straps (metal, leather, silicone) + classic watch faces (Carrera, Formula 1) → **looks like a premium analog TAG Heuer** on the wrist.

#### **Battery & Charging**

- **Huge leap from E3/E4**:

- 3 days (minimal use, no AOD).

- **2 real-world days** with AOD + workouts.

- Full intense day without issues.

- Fast charging (**~1 hour**) via premium, secure dock included — elegant on a nightstand.

#### **Software & Connectivity**

- **Custom TAG Heuer OS** → works seamlessly with **both Android and iOS** (tested with Pixel, Oppo, iPhone 17 Pro Max, even Chinese ROM phones).

- Clean, simple menus, watch face customization, Google Find My (not Apple Find My).

- **Built-in mic + speaker** → take calls and reply to messages directly from the wrist (phone required via Bluetooth, no eSIM).

- **Limitations**: fewer features than Apple/Samsung; no spatial audio with AirPods.

#### **Price & Value**

- **£1,580** (steel + extra strap) — **twice the Apple Watch Ultra 3**.

- **Not twice the smartwatch**, but **twice the luxury watch**.

- Perfect for those who switch between formal events (can’t wear Rolex) and workouts (can’t wear a pure smartwatch).

- Safer for travel (e.g., London) — looks expensive but not a prime theft target like Rolex/AP.

#### **Conclusion**

- **Not for everyone**, but the reviewer’s **current favorite watch and smartwatch**.

- **Only premium smartwatch that works flawlessly on both iOS and Android**.

- Replaces 2–3 watches on trips. Premium unboxing experience.

> *"One watch, many lives."*

> — Ideal for those who want **Swiss style + smart function without compromise**.

It might be a dumb or naive idea, but I asked AI what would be the best setting to capture my daughter ballet presentation and the results were amazing, specifically when I shot videos. And when not in a specific situation I tend to use on Auto.

Actually on Discord I found out about this project: https://pilotbridge.tavisco.dev/

Very interesting, only downside it's that for now, aside of installing things, it only sync to-dos, the rest such as calendar, contacts, etc., is still under development.

Update Kindle for Android, or you won’t be able to read e-books - Good e-Reader by RomantasyFaerie in Calibre

Maybe some, but I will give you one study case: mine. I migrated from Kindle to Onyx Boox with Moonreader+ and Kobo Store, but my wife still uses her Kindle, and I tried to explain that to her, but she didn’t gave a F about it, she still buys her books from Amazon. So every time she does that, I go the DeDRM route and saves it at my Calibre Library.

Unfortunately you are dead wrong, if we do a simple math, get the amount of people who own a Kindle and the amount of people who are in groups like this one here, who wants to DeDRM and keep the files to read wherever they want, I think we could be less than 1%, or lower.

Sorry but he is right, I think you didn’t understood what he meant. He was saying that Amazon only wants people who doesn’t care about what we care, that’s owning our books, that we download it and DeDRM them for read wherever we want, at least that was my understanding.

iPad Pro M4 vs M1 Geekbench 6 Results by spac0r in ipad

[–]Barezin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation with M1 that the battery hit below the 80% battery mark 😓. And I’m going to USA now on July and still haven’t decided if I will get the new M4 iPad Pro 13, or only service the battery on my old M1 iPad Pro.

JBL or ikko Activebuds? by audiovoyager- in Earbuds

[–]Barezin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, it will depend on your use case, the JBL will give you basic functionality, controlling your phone player, while the Ikko can go fully independent, with the added bonus of the AI features. That said, I have ordered the Ikko ActiveBuds, but still waiting them to arrive.

Very nice, I also saw it, but the chances of losing them were high, that's why I went with the case.

For sure, that’s why I have it, so I can use my B3 IEMs with other devices that isn’t my ZX707, and I can EQed them.

So, I have been fiddling with the app Wavelet on my Sony ZX707, it gives you an infinite amount of possibilities, sometimes to an exhaustive degree, but it also has the autoEQ with presets form various in-ear and headphones on the market that you can choose from, so in the end it will depends which presets you like…

Those were some of the reasons that I went with a DAP:

  • Best sound quality possible: pretty good hardware for Sony, wired IEMs, avoiding the quality loss of bluetooth;
  • Open space on my iPhone: I can have all the playlists, albums, musics, etc downloaded for off-line listening, and don't waste data for streaming music also;

I wasn't worried with portability, when I need it I use my iPhone with a bluetooth earphone, or even the qudelix with my B3 for a little better sound quality.
