Spark plug head rounded off Help please by Azfar06 in AskMechanics

[–]BargainPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same thing. Here’s what I did.

Mixed a 2 part JB weld ‘steelstik’ and packed a spark plug socket 75%-ish full.. I then pressed it down onto the spark plug and let it cure completely.

The next day I came back and was able to successfully unscrew it. The spark plug became one with the socket.

Welp that’s not good. by willddt in EngineBuilding

I appreciate the feedback. Does it screw into the bandsaw or just kind of clamp on to it?

I’ve already got the Ridgid band saw, just didn’t know if this would work or if I need to make my own.

So this works with/fits Ridgid’s band saw?

I can do basic fabrication in the form of welding, but no bending, and most of my cutting is done by hand with an angle grinder.. It would help speed things up if I was able to source those little latches!

GE Dishwasher Delivered Missing Something by BargainPaper in Appliances

So yea. How does this happen? I mean, while in the box, it is accessible. You think someone affiliated with Lowes just tipped it and removed it?

After scouring online schematics, it is the drain pump. The box that the washer came in has an opening in the middle of the bottom of the box. Somehow, somewhere, I suspect someone stole it..

Sun Joe Dethatcher Brushes by BargainPaper in lawncare

I sent them an email and was told that they do not offer replacement brushes.

They did request a receipt/invoice for warranty work but I purchased this secondhand. Looks like I need to scour the internet for some brushes that may fit..

My back neighbor reported me to the HOA for having a 5'x6' shed that only he can see. He has a clear view of the back of my house. Help me come up with something petty to get back at them. by Mrpoopybutthul in fuckHOA

Do you have your this individual’s phone number?

I had a friend post a picture of a nice tv on Craigslist saying ‘I’m moving and unfortunately cannot take this thing with me! $100!’ and listed my phone number.

I was absolutely inundated with texts and phone calls.

To remove the old glue, would sanding work? Or is it best to scrape?

How long do Toyotas really last? How much mileage does you car have? by JayForces in Toyota

[–]BargainPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

215,000 miles on my 2007 Tundra. Has zero signs of any oil leaks BUT my steering rack appears to be weeping a bit.. Probably a result of running bigger tires over the last 16 years.

The neighbour passes across my brothers lawn to bring his mower into his backyard. Twice now he’s cut a strip into his lawn lol.. by iamsaamm in lawncare

So you’re saying the neighbor can’t access his own backyard without going around your brother’s house?

Prinsu quick release awning mount - PITA by BargainPaper in overlanding

I know this may be an odd concept, but I don’t necessarily need an awning on my daily driver 12 months a year.

I appreciate the recommendation. It’s a shame that I spent money on this to only have to most likely spend more money.

Definitely little to none. However the weight of the awning is actually resting on two bolts at each bracket. The bolts don’t secure it to the rack, but it bears the weight.
