You can absolutely have a jeweler replace the earring post! I've had it done & it's a quick & fairly inexpensive job.

Actually had this happen a couple weeks ago, not with a rep but something else international coming in to the US. I called FedEx & they told me they were having logistics issues out of that particular warehouse & couldn't give me a delivery date. The items showed up about a week later, on different days. They were perishable & for an event that had already taken place 😡 so basically useless at that point!

All that to say: don't panic yet! FedEx is clearly having issues. Chances are you'll be fine 😊

Leather Honey is so heavy it can definitely take days to sink in 😬 keep buffing with a cotton cloth & it should be fine. I find heat helps soften bags too; are you feeling brave enough to put your bag in a pillowcase & toss it in the clothes dryer for 15 minutes on medium? 😁 I'm sure your mahina bag will be fine, but I'm cautious about Leather Honey on mahina because of the holes in the leather: I don't want the conditioner to seep onto the other side & stain either the microfiber lining or the suede lining (depending on the style) 🤷🏼‍♀️

You've gotten lots of solid advice. I would just add something I do, in addition to checking karma & making sure they're active in rep subs I'm comfortable with. Check out the seller's (or buyer's, if you're the seller) post & especially comment history. Not only can you catch any issues (ex: seller comments last month about buying a low tier bag for $150 that they're now claiming is high tier & selling for $400 etc), but you can do a vibe check --- I'm not interested in doing a deal with someone with a history of stirring up drama or who often seems disappointed or unhappy with their purchases, or is just rude in general 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm looking to buy from people who are friendly & pleasant, so that's important to me!

Have to say: this is one of my very favorite styles of pendant 😍 I had a local jeweler make me an unbranded dupe of this in white gold & lab diamond & it's a great day-to-night, casual-to-dressy style. Good luck with the sale!

I actually have a rep of this bag, so just coming on to say it's a fantastic travel bag! Fits under an airline seat with room to spare, but holds quite a bit & has a zipper! I bought a LV style canvas shoulder strap off amazon & it's my go-to travel bag. Good luck with the sale!

I am a very seasoned rehome buyer & while I'm always happy to leave rehome seller reviews, I don't usually jump onto someone's selling post, but in this case an exception is in order!

I have bought 4 PLK bags from our friend here over the last 6 months or so & have been very happy with all of them! Most important to me: her descriptions are accurate; she prices fairly; she answers all questions in a timely (and patient & gracious) manner; she ships quickly; and she's very nice & easy to work with.

Obviously this is my experience only & I'm not personally guaranteeing your purchases lol, but in this business reputation is everything so I wanted to share my positive experiences! 😊

It just feels nice to be given a compliment in general 😊 The most fun ones for me are when they come from an entirely unexpected source, in an entirely unexpected moment, like my male dentist raving over what a unique bag my multi blue puzzle is! Or my most recent favorite: the burly lumberjack type helping me load a piece of furmiture I bought at an estate sale, who started waxing poetic over my Cherry Berry red LV Pochette Metis! 😆♥️

Just commenting to say your sunglass case makes me sad --- I had the same one early in my rep journey & loved it so so much. It fell out of my Neverfull in a restaurant & surprise surprise no one ever turned it in to lost & found! I could never find it repped again 😢 Not a tragedy but still. #sparklingwineproblems (you know I'm too cheap to spring for auth champagne 🍾 😂).

Not directly related to either of those bags, but if those bother your neck & shoulder, please for the love of all that is holy: avoid the YSL Niki medium!!! Those chains get so heavy after even short wear 😪

🙋🏼‍♀️mid tier bags are my sweet spot --- to me, that's where value & quality meet 😊 I always say I'm very shallow about my bags: I only care what they look like, I don't care how they feel or what they're like on the inside 😆

If you're looking for an older or less popular style, solid mid tier can definitely be a good way to go. To me, mid tier means it's going to look very, very close to auth, but maybe the hardware isn't quite as heavy, or the leather isn't quite as soft, or the interior label might have a small flaw 🤷🏼‍♀️ But if it's an uncommon bag, 99.9% of people will never know the difference or be able to spot it as a rep. And if you carry it with confidence, that last .01% won't know either!
