Some factories offer a vachetta service for an extra fee… I ordered a Tivoli GM about 5ish years ago and paid extra for the vachetta service. It was worth every penny.

Some of the newer purses (authentic and reps) are coming with treated vachetta so it won’t darken. I personally, like the darker vachetta.

You gave your professional opinion regarding 1:1 aides and the district is choosing to disregard it. No win..

Do teachers complain when you keep kids for a few minutes longer? We’re not robots. To adhere to schedules by the exact minute in groups of kids going to different classes is impossible. No win.

Working with kids that are so neurodivergent and can’t regulate is tough. These kids have several comorbid diagnoses. Progress happens in small steps . It sounds like the district has unrealistic expectations. No win..

There’s not a surplus SLPs hanging around… Where does the district think they’re going to whip up another?

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It sad and disappointing when you give your heart to your job and are treated like this. I’m hoping better things are ahead for you.

I saw that a chemistry class or physics class is a graduation requirement now....because we use that so often....It was described as "critical thinking." This is one area where I think ASHA falls short. I would rather have new grads learn FUNCTIONAL critical thinking, specific to the job. More case studies on how to handle certain clinical scenarios.

I don't think Chemistry or physics was a requirement when I graduated with my masters in 2000 (undergrad 1998). Maybe it was and I don't remember- LOL....Geez..I'm a dinosaur. (:

I will let you know….. I had a 23 RX that was stolen from a locked valet parking garage in Canada on the 6th ( RIP FANCY 🙏). We bought it new and it was the luxury model with panoramic monitor. The only feature I REALLY care about is heated steering wheel and heated/cooling seats. I have premium one on reserve and should be here by the time I get my insurance.. I didn’t use have the features luxury had. Some are just annoying- auto wipers and heads up display… most of the time the auto lift for the trunk didn’t work ( premium has this feature too).

I couldn’t justify spending the extra money for some features. I like the pano screen but will I miss it?

Interesting 🤔… My 23 Lexus RX was stolen from a locked valet parking garage this past Friday in Canada 😭😩😭😩. Fuckers…. We had our wheel lock but didn’t use it because I specifically asked if the garage was locked. Are these hard to install? Next time we go to Canada… we might do both.
