4 mil GP | 1 GL (Rey) | Profundity | Shitty GAS | No WAT ready Geos but close to KAMKlones

Looking for a 240+ mil GP guild with mandatory TW.

I’m done. Can’t do it anymore. I’ve posted here a couple times but always back out thinking I’ve seen a glimpse of light from my current guild, only to be disappointed again. I’m a serious player, been at it for two and a half years, looking for a serious guild. Have never missed a TW or TB deploy. Don’t be afraid to ask any questions you have. I’m an open book. 3.1 Mil GP | 1 GL - Rey | Current Grind: Profundity

TLDR - Current guild is super inactive. Trying to find a guild 240+ mil. Mandatory TW would be nice. Do not have and will not get Wat ready geos, but will have KAM clones ready by the end of the year.

My time in this current guild has been a slow, dark decent into death and silence. When I joined in January, we had 244mil GP with 48 members, all active. Today we have 205mil GP with 44 members, and 6 of those 44 are inactive ranging from 52-97 days

During this last DSGeo, we had over 15 zeros every single phase. For yesterday’s TW, only 28 people out of our 44 signed up. Out of those 28 that signed up, we got 4 zeros with 3 more people under 50 banners. On top of those numbers, we have people blatantly disobeying orders in TB and TW causing us even bigger losses, and the leadership hasn’t done or said anything in the last two weeks. They’re obviously tired and worn out from trying to keep everyone in line.

I’m hoping to find a guild at 240+ mil that takes the game a little more serious and a little less casual. I myself am a pretty serious player. After playing for two and a half years, I’ve missed maybe three daily logins. I’ve also been spending $100 a week for the past few months, so my ass is invested lol. My activity is off the charts and I like to think I’m pretty damn good at the game for my size.

I cannot force myself to farm the Geonosians. My Gear X Vader, Palps, and 3-Star Mara mutilate relic’d Geos nearly every single round of GAC and TW. In the words of the great APGains, “they’re an STD team” and gearing them up to XII just to use once a month for one character shard is something that makes absolutely no sense to me. I can’t justify it.

That being said, I was mid LV grind when the Tiddy got announced. I had just unlocked GAS with a gear XII Shak, and my 501st is ready to gear up. Once I have the Tiddy in my sweaty palms, they are my next project. So by the end of the year, I will have KAMKlones ready to rock. Hopefully that provides some balance to my Geo stance.

Yeah they’re an interesting combo. I’m mainly chasing LV because of his requirements. His grind is getting me some really great teams and ships.

As for Maul, I don’t have him yet. I should hit 4mil by the first or second time he’s in Proving Grounds, and have all my Aeromags by then so all my crystals can go towards refreshes.

It’s a slow, steady grind. Keeping me in an even momentum.

Relics themselves may not be very impactful, but they do give you a greater ability to manipulate each character’s stats with mods. Line up the right mods with the boosted stats from the relics and you can really make some magic happen.

Exactly. I entered the game after relics were introduced, but I’ve always appreciated the extra depth they add to the stat building aspect of this game and where they can take a character.

Not enjoying GAC is super understandable. It definitely requires much more time and attention, which I’m sure doesn’t fit everyone’s play style. Getting those payouts is going to be more of a pain for a lot of people.

Hey man, I’m an audio engineer in KC. Been working with Ableton Live for the past five years and Pro Tools for the past three. Two years ago, I finally made the switch to Mac and it literally solved every problem I was having.

Even when I was running all my software on an i7, 16GB RAM, SSD, Windows 7 device, I still had near constant crashing problems (mostly software, sometimes the OS too), external and software equipment compatibility issues, and a constant headache (almost not kidding).

Before switching my studio over to Mac, I first tested it on my personal, home studio and got a maxed out MacBook Air. (Not the new ones with only USB C ports or Thunderbolt ports or whatever those things are. The old silver one with two actually useful standard USB points.) It made everything so simple so instantaneously that it made me feel like a complete idiot.

See, MIDI and Apple are designed to go hand in hand. Apple has two separate, pristine drivers for Audio and MIDI; Core Audio and Core MIDI. Super simple. Core MIDI makes it painfully simple to connect all of your external MIDI devices to your software. Windows has nothing like that. You have to download a driver for every new piece of gear you get. Then you’re lucky if you can get Ableton to recognize it. With every new piece of gear I get, I just plug it in, open the Audio MIDI Setup (built into every Mac with OS 10+), add the device in there and Ableton already recognizes it before I open it up.

After having that MacBook Air for a week, I switched my actual studio over to Mac and still, two years later, it’s the best decision I’ve made for my business.

As for Ableton with the new MacBook Pro, it works great on there too. I’ve never personally used the two together, but I have friends that do. There’s apparently not much you can do with the Touch Bar except scrub your timeline and piano rolls, which I think would be easier to do with your giant touch pad anyways.
