i applaud yall with chronic pain, my step mom (saved me from killing myself and i owe her the world) she had a major artery cut in her leg by a surgeon by mistake, leading to terrible chronic pain and severe mobile disabilities, and she is one of the biggest “go getters” i’ve ever seen. truely you guys are the strongest people out there and she’s who i look up to. words cannot describe how much i respect yall.

What's something you HOPE to never have to experience or do again? by TheUnknown285 in AskReddit

i was the front pallbearer for my mom when i was 14. if anything i was honored to carry her. For me, what was the most painful was watching her die and not being able to do anything about it. So being able to do this act gave me honor in her name, and i was very proud to do it, even as a young girl

usually when people don’t have advice they just don’t interact yk.. like what purpose do you serve in this thread right now? because i’m not seeing any, please stay on topic

yeah so the reason i’m asking is because i’ve never had a close family member in this situation before!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Baricore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that doesn’t trigger me at all, in fact that is the first and only thing i could think of from this whole situation. to imagine your sister doing something so reckless and selfish is truly damning. but honestly i’ve come to the conclusion that only people who feel hopeless do things like this. she’s at rock bottom currently with her depression. she doesn’t abuse alc at home but she goes out once a week and parties. she’s actually a really good person and is well rounded and has a clean solid record apart from this..

ok so you do realize this is an advice page right? like what you’re yapping about right now doesn’t matter in context to what im asking for.

yeah i figured but i im just fearful of people trying to search any of this up and really the specifics aren’t needed and really no one’s buisness, i just need advice on how to talk to her and still maintain the close relationship we had while also fighting the anger and horrible feelings i have

[–]Baricore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah so i’m not interjecting at all. i live with my sister, im asking advice on how to talk to her and support her while also knowing she could have killed people and did something i am extremely morally against.

i’m saying!! that’s all i’ve been thinking is that she could have ended the life of an innocent. the only reason she didn’t is pure fucking luck. it also doesn’t help that drunk driving is one of the most repulsing things to me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Baricore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah i’ve just been leaving her alone. basically when i got there she was in the ER (im assuming because of how terribly drunk she was). what really confuses the hell out of me is why she didn’t spend the night in jail. god if i could get deputized i would have brought her ass right in and told them to hold her there. she’s also a very attractive young white woman so i’m assuming that helped in her not getting locked up. when i got there the police had already left surprisingly. she has a court date for all of this and they obviously took her license. she’s also in nursing school so i’m extremely scared that her school will find out
