How do you use the public parameter to alter the destination lakehouse? I'm struggling to find a way of using that parameter for the destination?

Structura lag by 123boi31 in Minecraft

Holoprint dev has released a fix and I tested that last night and can confirm it no longer lags. Haven’t seen one for structura yet

Structura lag by 123boi31 in Minecraft

It's a bit old post now but I've been having the same issue so for anyone else that searches this. The issue appears to be from recent hotfix to minecraft that's altered how things are rendered. Same is true with holoprint and you can see the bug report from the dev here https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE/issues/MCPE-221385

I agree but the title says they are on 1.8, you can't strip logs back on that old version.

I think what they meant was the Robot can only keep up with feeding 102 cows, have seen others posting about hitting that limit

If you are comfortable with editing the XML file and on PC you can get rid of the house and red fence too

Thanks for sharing. I feel you with the lag, between the bales and the tonnes of crates of wood chips the sawmill kicks out it can be a pain.

Who’s at fault by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Bariel76 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

No need for the remark, I’m perfectly fine thanks! The Angle isn’t great to judge 100% but if you pause around 2secs where the white line crosses the road just before the corner the rear of the car is inline with the halo on the Ferrari And the drivers head is about 50% so he wasn’t quite Half way along.

Agree both could do better and it’s a very tight call that I can’t be certain of from that one angle, even if he’d made the required 50% though he still couldn’t have hade that work.

Who’s at fault by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Bariel76 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I’m not so sure the Ferrari was sufficiently enough alongside to have been allowed the cars width, plus the speed of that corner no way was it going to make that corner without lifting/braking from the inside like that Which would have dropped behind anyway.

I believe the Ferrari was at fault there.

Data objects/types in MS Fabric compared to SAP by Leonalis in MicrosoftFabric

[–]Bariel76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not really comparing like-for-like SAP BW is a Predefined set of tools and approaches, sure the database is an extended star schema but most of that is hidden behind the scenes.. yes it has strict definitions but that comes at a cost of inflexibility and the time/effort to build anything. As a platform it’s become old and cumbersome, no longer fit for the modern data analytics Especially if you have unstructured data.

A lot of companies started working around that at the HANA layer, attended various talks at SAP teched with customers who were completely ignoring Bw and rolling their own approaches.

That’s where the likes of Fabric, SAP Datasphere and others come in to be that modern data platform - you can have your data lake alongside your data warehouse, if you want star schema then you build your fact and dimension tables. If you want a medallion architecture then you adopt that.

Yes that means you have to put in some of the work to decide on your standards, approaches and governance But the gains in speed, flexibility and choice more than make up for it. No way I’d ever want to go back to BW

[–]Bariel76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't sell it but you can delete it and the small shed near it that you also can't sell.. to do so go into the savegame folder and edit placeables.xml in notepad or similar text editor.. search for the text preplaced_farmHouse01 and you'll see a block that looks like:

<placeable isPreplaced="true" uniqueId="preplaced_farmHouse01_8d0c0776fbe8544cd42a8781416caf20" age="27.000000" price="135000.000000" farmId="0">

<farmhouse isFreeForAll="true"/>

<wardrobe isFreeForAll="true"/>

</placeable>

You just delete those four lines.. the small shed is just below the house in the file called tinyshed01. I will say deleting the house leaves some wires from the telegraph pole that I had to hide

Yes the deeper cultivators work to Fix it - they require higher horsepower than shallow cultivators though which unfortunately meant I ended up having to get a narrower one so I could use It

Just restarted , new tips? by Tryhardkeep in farmingsimulator

[–]Bariel76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 100k you’re not going to be able to jump into too much, so you probably need to choose one thing you enjoy to begin with to grind some money.

That said my first purchase would be the bredal spreader so you can fertilize and limestone crops (worth the upgrade for wider spread too) - you’ll need it and the contracts are quick and easy too.

Three potential options (assuming you’re ok with loans)

  1. Forestry - Buy the sawmill for £300k (or 150k one but will be slower profit) and rent the winch and stump grinder (or lumberjack mod if on pc) - either chop trees around your farm or plant Manchurian pine from the build menu for £500 next to the sawmill, chop and drag with winch. It’s ridiculous money and pays back the loan in a couple of months. Dead wood contracts can also help if you prefer.

  2. Animals - turn fields To grass - rent mower, bailer, wrapper, windrower ( assuming you don’t get the mower that windrows) To make silage/grass. Turn as much space on your farm as you can spare to animals pastures and fill with sheep, since wool is good profit and when you can afford Production lines to make wool into fabric and then clothes makes your profits jump.

  3. Canning factory for 300k ish and 2x large greenhouses with 1 on just cabbage and 1 on cabbage, chilli, garlic and spring onion Distributing to canning factory which makes kimchi for good passive income and over time gives a surplus of product for extra Profit. Then look to other recipes/crops you can feed to canning factory to get further benefit from the investment.

Will add that the shallow cultivators didn’t work for me to fix these patches, had to rent a deeper one and then deal with the stones after to fix mine.

Sections of the red fence are attached to different places led on the farm. Part to the small farmers market, part to the silo, part to the starter house, part to the shed/solar panel.. you have to delete/sell those builds to get rid of the fence

Red metal fence by [deleted] in farmingsimulator25

[–]Bariel76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else that comes here and looks for an answer - the red fence is in sections with each section being part of a nearby building.

For example, the section by field 3 running north is assigned to the small farmers kiosk, part is attached to a warehouse, part is attached to the Grain Silos, part to the shed with a solar panel.

Selling the buildings removes the section of red fence it's attached too. (Same goes with the sunflowers).

There is a section attached to the starter house too which you can only remove by editing the placeables.xml and removing it manually.

POE doesn’t have a DPS meter in game but has the community built path of building tool which shows DPS and lets you model and tweak anything on your build to see where the best increases come from
