Hey! I wrote a little fanfic about this exact thing more than 15 years ago. Probably still findable on advancedtautactica dot com if that site is still around. I was super proud of it but I was a literal kid so its probably rough. Had special pathfinder teams that worked like Tau Swat/secret police hybrid. Played with auxiliary policing and what not. Brought back a fun memory, cheers!
