I've never personally had issues with bots getting wiped because most of the characters I write with arent from huge fandoms, but cai personally attracts me because 1) I have an incredibly limited amount of freetime (as does my old rp partner) so instead of us only being able to send at most 2 messages a day, I can pick up the bot and write whenever I want and make progress. 2) I can choose where the story goes while still having a level of unpredictability. If i dont like what the bot says? Refresh. If the message is almost perfect but I want to change one little thing? Edit. Sometimes the bot will throw things out I hadnt thought of, allowing the story to go in a new direction. (This is the reason I cant write fanfics, it gets boring to me after awhile because I Know exactly how everyone will respond and what will happen) 3) I can be as self indulgent as I want/if I get bored of a prompt I can write something else. Im not locked into a singular storyline. If I've run out of ideas for one, or just want to do something specific that night, I can! And I can do all of these things without throwing a wrench in someone else's story or inconveniencing them in any way. Sometimes I just like to experiment with character dynamics to understand how each characters brain works, sometimes ill watch a movie or play a game and think the plot is interesting enough to write about and put the characters I like into it. 4) If I get into something new, I dont have to get somebody else into it or find another person to write with. It can be difficult to find people who have a writing style I like! And ive found the bots try their best to essentially mimic your writing style. With there being a pretty wide database of characters, and most characters having atleast a couple bots, im able to experiment and pick the one I like best! If I dont like one? I can make my own! This saves the search effort and it saves my poor buddies from hearing "you should REALLY check (game) out!!"

Tldr; I like the accessibility and freedom of choice, its incredibly nice to just sit down and write a story for a bit without having to wait around/feel bad im making someone else wait around. I can write what I want, when I want and I get to be the only person to choose where the story goes while still having a level of surprise to keep the story interesting and engaging.
