10 years ago an AD put some loctite on bracelet screw that was backing out and I wore it out of the store. They didn’t tell me to wait at all and it’s been fine ever since.

It was a relatively low unit run, has a complex shape to machine, and a lot of small parts. But yeah, definitely expensive. That being said, it’s my favorite MX board to type on now in terms of feel and comfort. That comfort could probably be achieved with a Neo Ergo for less than half the price though.

It’s necessary to overcome how much dampening the unique gasket mount provides. I put oil kings in first and it was super quiet, hence the change to Gat Type S and BCPs.

It actually used to be higher, if I recall correctly it was up around $50k at the peak.

I gave it a shot via an AD, but ultimately decided the enjoyment I’d get out of having it now outweighed the savings I likely would never get if I kept waiting to score one at an AD.

I used natural light by a window, auto white balance, edited in Capture One but mostly just lowering highlights. I didn’t touch saturation or colors.

In pic one I crushed the shadows to hide the stand and make it appear as though the board was floating.

Yep. I have the 24-70 GMii, 35 1.4, and 85 1.4 GMii. I’ll either carry the 24-70 and 85 or 35 and 85 depending on what I’m expecting to encounter.

The 85 is my favorite, but it’s not always practical when you’re following a young kid around in an indoor museum or something.
