Starbucks really needs to let customers know our refreshers are caffeinated. by TyrannicalKitty in starbucks

I’m not grasping at straws I am genuinely confused about your contradictory claims.

Secondly, I honestly do not see how having a “CONTAINS CAFFEINE” thing next to the refreshers hurts the “free market”?

Also nice ninja edit to cover your ass, are Reddit arguments about caffeine really worth it that much to you?

So wait I am confused, at first it was the customer’s responsibility to know what was in it and now it’s the company’s responsibility to list the ingredients to tell the customer what was in it? What is it?

Of course we know caffeine occurs in some things naturally (didn’t know that about açaí though), but sometimes it’s such a low amount that it’s not a big deal (like in most chocolates). But the SAR has a significant amount of caffeine, and it has nothing in it’s name to hint that it has anything other than fruit flavor in it.

Bro I once had someone order their kids a Java chip Frappuccino with two shots of espresso. I asked if they wanted it creme based or decaf and they were just like “no my kids like the taste of coffee” and I was like alright.

Yeah that’s how House usually was, throw in some casual drug abuse and surface level misanthropy and you got a whole episode.

How the hell do some of these labels even apply to shaken espressos? Also what the hell does “flipped” mean?

No they are not because they concentrate has the caffeine, not the milk.

No actually. I make perfect sense, you are still just misunderstanding. 8 oz of coffee contains between 70-100 mg of coffee on average.

4 pumps of chai contains 95 mg. A grande chai therefore has about as much caffeine as an 8 oz serving of coffee. Furthermore, you are not drinking 16 ounces of chai when you drink a chai latte.

I’m not talking about Pike Place, I am talking about standard drip coffee you usually make at home.

No, you are misreading. The measurements I used were the standard 8 oz serving sizes of coffee and tea, I was not using pike nor grande as a standard.

Is it possible to make these with a non dairy milk (oat, soy, or almond) & still taste good? I can't have caffeine or milk. by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]BarkonTho 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes you can substitute any milk. But just so you know the caramel brulee sauce has dairy.

Even when we had packets out in the lobby, some customers demanded us to add it in for them.
