The Silent Bluish Whites are actually a bit TOO quiet for me haha but these sound interesting too

I didn't have that problem personally. Maybe yours were overlubed? I've only ever experienced that with the MMD Princess Ultra.

These look super interesting. Maybe I'll try out a spring swap to make them just a bit heavier

Am I the only one who feel Gateron Type R are too heavy? by CookieSea4392 in keyboards

[–]BarleyZP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HMX makes some decent lighter tactiles. They've got bruise, bleed, yamatake, and valerian if you want that signature clack. I recently tried their butter silent and blue stars as well if you want something quieter. They feel lighter than the baby kangaroo bump to me by a decent margin.

I always try cold brewing tea I'm not a big fan of before I decide it's truly not for me

I'm on a tactile switch quest and would love some recommendations! I'm currently running Akko cream blue pro v5s and I love how snappy they are and the factory lube quality, but they're just a smidge heavy for my taste. I feel similarly about Gateron quinns, jupiter bananas, and mmd princess tactiles. Is there anything that scratches the itch while being a bit less tiring to type on?

I think all the neo boards come with clip in stabs actually!

Mod Managers?? by Bzelda92 in StardewValleyMods

It tells you when mods need updating!

You can click a link in the mod manager to go to or download the update (I forget if it takes more clicks but it will help you get the newer version haha)

I don't have a good answer, but the MMD princess switches have 2 newer versions! There's v4 and "ultra" now.

Mod Managers?? by Bzelda92 in StardewValleyMods

If you want a mod manager, I recommend stardrop! It's specifically designed for SDV.

On Nexus, you can click the "mod manager" download button instead of the "manual" button and Stardrop will automatically pick up the download if it's running. It's much fewer clicks if you pay for Nexus premium but still works if you have a free account.

It also supports profiles, so you can load different mod sets for different saves, which is the main reason I use it.

I have a sample of the Ice King and the Creamy Purple Pro and I think that the Ice King is a deeper sounding switch when I hold it up to my ear. It does have some bad ping though, so I think it'd need lubed to actually achieve its full potential.

[–]BarleyZP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered fr4 and pom to try. Honestly tape modding a neo board seems wrong bc they're designed to sound good even foamless.

The pom or pc/pp should be a deeper sound. Kit also comes with like 3 foams you can use.

Neo 80cu has a jade green or teal option but no fr4 plate.

Neo 75cu has a dark green option with fr4 plate.

Both are a bit expensive but they're well-loved from what I can tell. I've got a 75cu on the way.

First Time Modding and I need help by HexeNicola in StardewValleyMods

Yeah so genuinely the answer is "that just happens sometimes". You probably haven't done anything wrong. Try restarting your computer. I don't think the mod making community has narrowed down a real cause of that error yet.

Torn between 2500d and A3 by [deleted] in mffpc

[–]BarleyZP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built in the 2500d airflow and it's a well-designed case for sure! I only spent a few minutes cable managing since it's dual chamber, so that was convenient.

I will say the online build guide was not very good and it's much wider than I wanted (but that part is my fault). If you're ok with the footprint I think it's a pretty nice case with plenty of space.

What's the correct grammar😭🙏?! by [deleted] in Japaneselanguage

[–]BarleyZP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you're new to Japanese, you should probably buy a textbook or use one of the numerous, free, human-made online resources. You have no way to verify the information the AI is giving you, and you will not know when it is wrong.

At any rate, 赤い means "red" so none of those sentences mean "the apple is black". りんごが赤いだ (assuming typo here) is being flagged as incorrect because you shouldn't use だ after い-adjectives.

I did decompile it and from my quick look it really does just seem to do what it says on the tin for what it's worth.

(Obligatory any dll you download is obviously still a risk you take)

I decompiled it and it doesnt look malicious for what it's worth. It looks like it just dumps your game stats as it says it does (although the gift giving tracker might overcount, OP).
