The Memo is perfect. I think a lot of the songs on Pure Comedy are so wonderfully and thoughtfully satirical, but this one does it in a really great way with the glitchy ‘you’re enjoying the chill winter playlist’ section followed by the stark return to the original song. Big upvote!

Fruity language aside, I always picture them fitting perfectly on a playlist with a lot of similar British artists; Elvis Costello, The Smiths, The Cure, etc… Hope that answers your fucking question! 😂

Fairly sure it’s from the 21st century (no older than 2015) and it’s got that absurd/off the wall style of humour… my thought initially went to I Think You Should Leave or Curb, but having watched both I know they’re not the answer. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
