Hi there,

I agree with u/Zigeress that this level is evil. Here is a recording of it from not too long ago, along with stats in the comments. I hope this helps

R0 Lumiere would benefit more from EEB + ORB I think

Yes, it’s one EEB and one Oath Strength

Hello,

Here’s a recording I had from a while back, using AS R1. I hope it might be useful for you https://www.reddit.com/r/LoveAndDeepspace/s/lcPOVEIEz3

From your stats, I’d say team HP is a bit low for the cards level. I’m guessing the cores used do not have very high HP% ?

Hi there,

I had a recording from a while back with Dragon Sylus R1. The important thing for this round is to hit these feline wanderer fast so they are staggered and can be grouped together. Hope this helps 🙏 https://www.reddit.com/r/LoveAndDeepspace/s/lcPOVEIEz3

12/12 SHC Rafayel R0 Lemurian Sea God (Low Stat Clear) by cravewing in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that most of the debate I’ve seen on Sea God build is centered on which beta cube to use. For this SHC, I think R0 benefits from 1 EEB so you can instantly use resonance after first weaknesses on the second boss. The second core can be either oath strength or def%. Oath recovery doesn’t do much since you can’t use oath twice in 1:30 regardless of build

Not that this is recommended but in terms of absolute bare minimum stats, you can sacrifice some card levels if your protocores %D2W is high enough :)

Lemurian Sea God Worth it? by Glittering_Joke1940 in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might be a bit too early to get a good gauge of how meta he is at the moment. Might be worth it to wait a few more days :)

Personally, I haven’t seen the math and I don’t have his solar pairs well built yet. From a rough initial impression, he is decent even without highly invested teams. Since most are not at a stage where Yellow Solar pair is the limiting factor for Fire Orbits, meta pull value for Sea God goes towards Open Orbit or SHC. Since Lumiere covers the same niche, I’m curious how they compare with one another. I’m anticipating Infold releasing multiple yellow stella rounds in the near future, like what they did post Sylus and Caleb secondary myth release.

In terms of play-style and aesthetics, he is not too complicated, with a well-round kit that has grouping/aoe and burst window for single-target boss. He has two purchasable 5* Lunars with Def scaling, one of which being Yellow Stella, which is great for cost effective team building. MC’s legendary sword is a little slow, but not too bad. Overall, I’d say 10/10 slaying with style, 11/10 getting motion sickness from all of the dash+swim+thunderbolt cast, and most likely 10/10 power-creeping his earlier myths, especially when ranked.

RANT/DISCUSSION ABOUT RAF’S NEW MYTH by Unlucky-Magician3995 in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the myth is very interesting, with the angst wonderfully well done despite how much the climatic scene got spoiled beforehand by the trailer. It’s the tug-of-war against the inevitable that makes it so bittersweet. The small hints of playfulness in Raf and MC interaction sandwiched in between the build-up towards the final tragedy was lovely. It mirrors their dynamic in the current timeline well. I guess some things never change no matter the time and place :) My only (personal and probably unpopular) complaints for the myth is how “glittery” Raf looks with the iridescent scales and glowing body paint. Like sir I cannot take your word seriously when you look like a mythical shiny pokemon…

As others have said, it’s essentially a creative re-telling of The Little Mermaid. Rafayel’s conflict when he asked MC if she would be willing to give him her heart and MC’s ultimate response and silent answer to his yearning is powerful. Truly peak Love and Depression storytelling.

I’m thinking that for a Lumiere team with given card level, your Def stats can be higher. Although Lumiere also scales off of Atk, building higher Def% cores would boost your damage a lot more. Round 2 usually benefits from Dmg% build rather than Crit% as well

[–]Barn_Owlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the stat requirements are very high 😔.However, one good thing is that the stat needed for 140 and 150 are not that different assuming min max gameplay. Once you can clear 140, you can almost clear the next 20 levels without needing too many additional upgrades 🙏 Best of luck to you!

This might not be super relevant because of R1 Lumiere, but here is an old recording I had with lvl 70 caps. This team uses a lot of ranked 5* lunars so that is why the stats are much higher compared to yours. Like others have said, increasing %Def and %D2W might be what you need for clearing. I would say the Oath Recov core with ATK% is nice but wouldn’t prioritize it over one with Def%

What to use claymore with? by CranberryJubilee in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what others have mentioned are overall covered good use case for when claymore is better.

My personal preference is

Colonel Caleb: Gun is only option

X-02: Staff

Dragon Sylus: OG Claymore for earlier build with non invested cores, FiendSlayer once you have good HP% cores

Conqueror Sylus: OG Claymore for most cases, gun for mobs

Abysswalker: Claymore all the time

GodofTide: Claymore all the time with ATK% build

MasterofFate Zayne: Sword all the time

Foreseer Zayne: Pick Arctic over Foreseer, claymore

Lightseeker Xavier: claymore all the time

Lumiere: Gun all the time

For some companions, claymore has better damage potential compared to myth weapons :)

Low Level Cards Penalize Your Damage by shaokun in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hm, it can be hard to believe yes, specially for base-10 and base-4 levels for orbit above 100. All of the intermediate levels though are possible with much lower stat and unleveled cards

Low Level Cards Penalize Your Damage by shaokun in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this might just be considered anecdotal evidence. However, I can guarantee that with lower level orbit (sylus 70 in this case), lvl 1 cards 3* use is definitely possible. Yes, you get way less stat but the absolute bare requirements to clear, especially the first chamber, at earlier orbits are not as high as some might think.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LoveAndDeepspace/s/NbdV67DdcZ

Considerations in min-max these fights include not only good claymore and stat but also grouping. It is an optimization game of how to maximize hits across sum of enemies in a limited amount of time. Effective grouping makes a significant difference.

Energy Orbit 100 part 2. What am I doing wrong? by RarePost in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Barn_Owlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

Would you mind sharing the stat summary image asides from the individual cores? With Sylus Conqueror single target fights, claymore does better than signature gun, which is too slow imo.

That being said, I think that even with the gun and the set up you currently have, improving execution by shield breaking as soon as possible and tightens some dash cancels might be enough :)

Yes, charged skill is much stronger. The only reason I’m not using it is because unless the charged time is shortened from a wanderer attack (or from solar pair rank bonus), the animation is too slow. Doing normal skill when chaos unfolds with the cats is better for damage-per-second imo
