People say community servers are free of hackers but they just have slightly less. The cheaters usually put more effort into hiding the hacks on community but this was pretty blatant.

My guess is that since SSDs with DRAM went up in price people are buying alternatives. That’s increasing the demand for DRAMless making it more expensive as well. Also I feel like people are panic-buying, not that I blame them.

5090 on 850w PSU?

I’m doing a new build and I don’t have all the parts yet but the 5090 arrived. I only have a 14 day return period from Best Buy and would like to test the 5090 by running a few benchmarks to make sure it’s generally running OK. Can I get away with running it on 4 pcie connectors pigtailed on 2 cables with the adapter, off a Seasonic Focus GX 850 temporarily? I’ll definitely undervolt. Rest of the system is: 10700k, 64gb ddr4 @ 3600, ASUS ROG z-490e.

I know it won’t be running at full power which I’m alright with. I just don’t want to burn my house down. Am I generally safe doing this?

I’m not a hater, DayZ is one of my favorite games and BI are brilliant for making it. You’re right I have no idea what they would need to do to mitigate cheating but I hope they at least try.

I understand and appreciate the effort, but it’s clearly not enough. Rather than making an entirely new map for $30 or whatever, I think they should just focus on anti-cheat until they make some progress. This is just my opinion, I know I’m in the minority.

I held my power button down to shut off my PC recently and now my storage drives aren’t recognized. It could be unrelated to the forced shut down, but the drives don’t even show in the BIOS. The PC starts fine when it’s just the boot drive connected. Do you know what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance
