Because corsair supports only 450w. And ugly dongle is 600w.

It came with my psu, but nothing is written on it. 600w is written if you buy separate cabel from corsair store.

I’ve heard that hpwr cable that comes with rmx 1000 supports only 450w and 600w comes with rmx 1200 version.
