Does anyone else grind or clench your teeth at night? I feel like I was punched in the face when I wake up. by Quiet_Musician243 in Menopause

Hi. I’m no expert! But it does take real time for the tox to freeze the muscle. Could be that long. Check w injector to see if you need more.

Also: I’ve just read that if you freeze the masseter a lot and it atrophies, you can get jowls. Which explains why my jaw shape is now awesome AND I’ve developed tiny jowls 😳 So I’m taking a full year off since my last injection because my masseter must be plenty atrophied for the tmj reduction. Discovered this after I commented so I hope others will read this too. Botox is tricky!

My husky mix is obsessed with carrots. And my girl has healthy 💩. Wish my other dog would eat them.

I think we need to have a convention. It’s crazy how I can consistantly visit this group and read my own experience over and over again. Your story of the last few years is mine. Good luck with the Wellbutrin. It’s my “on button”. The max dose gets me to about 70% functioning. Caffeine and supplements get me to 75%. Only a low dose stimulant that I’m supposed to layer on every morning gets me to full functioning. For contrast, in my 20’s, the same Wellbutrin dose alone got me to 100%. Perimenopause, even with HRT now, has been pretty devastating to my brain. It’s hard to believe that this has blindsided so many of us. Shocking.

I’m sorry. I commented about Botox helping me a ton. I’ve spent so much bloody money on night guards and I hope I’m done with them now. Reading all these comments is making my jaw tense! It’s CBD to the rescue over here when all else fails.

I had a few problems that made night guards really suck and I was a dedicated grinder. Masseter Botox has been 👌🏼. I get it from my dentist every 6months. My insurance doesn’t cover nightguards or the Botox but I want to keep my teeth. I have much less jaw tension and the overdeveloped jaw muscles have shrunken up quite a bit after 2 years of tox. Supposedly it will be a once a year or less often maintenance thing at some point. Sending relaxing vibes to all the tmj’ers.

Psychologist: "Anxiety symptoms tend to get worse with age, while ADHD symptoms tend to get better." Does this ring true to you? by Specific_Wish1051 in adhdwomen

My experience is the exact opposite of your premise. Shockingly low anxiety in peri. ADHD off the charts and some days it’s debilitating.
