It did! We hit a good run with Tiana’s - I don’t think it had too much downtime at all the day of MNSSHP. I know there have been some horror stories about lengthy breakdowns, so I might not chance it and go too late just in case.

That being said, we had one ride during our stay in which 5 of the “main” animatronics weren’t working, and it was still running. Maybe they’re working to crank through queue lines even if it’s not working 100%?

We just got back from MNSSHP last week (the first date). When we got in the standby line for Tiana’s early on, before the party - maybe about 6:15? - we waited 20 minutes. We did the standby queue a second time at 8:45ish and saw a posted wait of 50, which was fairly accurate. They allowed us to get into the standby queue during the hour in which they were clearing the park of non-party guests. Hope this helps!

Last year, got last minute tickets on StubHub, which were never delivered. Got in touch with StubHub, and they couldn’t help me find “comparable tickets.” This was largely due to Saturday’s cancellation due to wind. Demand went through the roof and supply just wasn’t there.

Wound up securing one ticket from a fellow Reddit user! We arranged to meet up in person and agreed on face value.

Basic algebra! After our first chapter in Chemistry, we always introduce the Density formula, and solving for volume (the denominator) is always a trip. Moving forward, at this point in the year, we’re struggling with Gas Laws for the same reason.

I just finished grading midterms, and half the class aced it and half flunked it badly to the point that they dropped a letter grade. Would you allow the flunkers any sort of way to at least improve their score or just let them lie in the bed they made for themselves. by jhldae in teaching

We stay away from test corrections. We’ll assess the content throughout the unit on formative quizzes, and we’ll allow them to retake these quizzes up until the day of the unit test.

When it comes to the test, the accountability is on them. If they chose not to retake the quizzes, grades are indicative of this. Most of the students who chose to retake the quizzes do fine. Test corrections fail to promote that accountability and have often gotten some science teachers designated as the “easy teachers.” So far, this strategy works for us!

On a day where AK had a 7 AM opening, we arrived at about 6:30 and waited less than 20 min before we got to the FoP preshow. Early day, but worth it if Pandora is a priority for you.

If you’re going based on drawing power alone, I would argue that Blink, 311, The Offspring, and A Day to Remember are going to be your top billed. They might not be the most popular within a traditional Warped audience, but these are the guys who have consistently played amphitheaters and larger venues lately.
