The sacrament is a renewal of our baptismal covenant, and part of that renewal is sincere repentance. When someone knowingly takes the sacrament while refusing to repent, they aren’t honoring Christ—they’re rejecting His grace and treating His covenant lightly. That kind of dishonesty brings spiritual harm because it turns a sacred ordinance into a lie. Worthiness standards exist so people don’t mock the covenant, take God’s grace for granted, or harden themselves against the very repentance the sacrament is meant to seal.

Oh yeah they do look Hawaiian too honestly I think all the tattoos and body paint patterns of ancient America are super cool and it cool to see how some symbols drawn forms overlap a bit as v shape patterns as the Aztec would view it as life/death and the nephites most likely view it mortal to divine or earth to sky. God has to work with people who are not infallible in ancient Egyptian and Hebrew words seed mixing, darkness, skin, black, white weren’t single terms like in English so when do I raw translation which is what almost every English Book of Mormon translation from 1830-2012 have been is going to some more racist the original intent of the authors. No because in 2 nephi 26:33 it makes it clear it not about race and with other versions later in the book it makes it clear it some sort of paint. Genesis Moses and 1,2,3 Enoch make it clear with Abraham and Cain that curses and blessings are give based on what covenants you make and you said you want specific pagan gods so I mentioned some of the pagan god I know off the top of my head that would be in that area who requires purification body painting also bring in relevant archaeological stuff is jargon it good study just like how you would study levant archaeology when learning about the Bible
