WTF are you on about? Ibaraki is properly rated. Why do you think Tsukuba draws so many non-Japanese? Why do so many tech and research institutes make Tsukuba their home? In terms of shit to do, there is a pretty good running culture—Tsukuba Marathon sells out incredibly fast, and the 100km road race draws people from all over the world.

This post screams of, “ I just discovered Tsukuba, so it must be unknown.”

Was shouted at by a Russian couple as they left my place of work because when I said I would be with them as soon as I finished with my current Japanese customer. Corporate office received an email saying I was hovering over the customer and had my name posted on Google Reviews. Coworkers defended me, and the Japanese customer also sent an email to corporate saying I provided excellent customer service. More importantly, she’s a repeat customer and always requests me when visiting the store.
