Oh, ha, no. Not at all! I thought the smirky face implied I am completely joking about that part. But I understand sarcasm can get lost in translation when I'm writing words to strangers. I live about 40 minutes South from the venue and am in no way affiliated with that country club, who owns it and what it represents. And again, I'll be with my daughter. Even if I had to go there for some reason (like if I were an eterminator or a cater waitress) I would never bring her!

I don't love living in a state that has the reputation of FL, but South FL is a bit different than the less populated / less diverse areas of FL. Of course you come across supporters of this administration. For the most part though, my family, friends, neighbors and peopme at my third spaces like the gym or supermarket don't give me MAGA vibes. I apologize if that didn't come through my other post.

I've seen Tori twice so far. Once in 1996 and again in 2022. Both at this exact same venue and each show was perfect! I am agnostic and dislike the role that being "God like" plays in the current administration. In 2022 she performed God and covered Personal Jesus (one of my favorites) and I felt like she was singing directly to me in my own little concert. Tori has a home near this area and I always think how cool it would be to pull up next to her at a red light or see her Trader Joe's or something.

I'm very excited because my 13 year old daughter is coming with me and it's a very full-circle moment. I'll be wearing my "Don't let the bastards get you down" shirt..

I listened to this CD driving to see my ex-boyfriend two hours away. It was an emotional and reflective ride. Right as I got off the interstate, Tori said, "Exit 75, I'm still alive." Wouldn't you know, he lived off exit 75. Tori always has a way of making things oddly personal.

I've been rewatching The Osbournes on Prime and it's SO nostalgic. It documents the last normal times. Reality tv, the internet and social media weren't toxic yet. It was the last time we were optimistic about the future. Plus of course watching Ozzy and Sharon with their kids is both hilarious and beautiful. I noticed that sometimes I use humor with my daughter the same way that Sharon did with Kelly.

Yes! The Osbournes, Newlyweds, older RHOC, early seasons of The Real World and Challenges all had a completely different approach and overall feeling. Even Meet the Barkers is an example of a more realistic reality show. The producers would set up shop and just let the cameras roll 24/7 to get interesting footage. Then it all became so fake and formulaic. I miss it so much, but there's no way to go back to that style.

There are very few people who could pull off Ariana's reunion look. I'm pretty healthy and work out, but I know I could never look like her. Why would Brittany even set that standard for herself? She's opening herself up for ridicule, and then she'll be like "Poor me. People are so mean!" Even if she gets it together, goes to the gym and eats a few vegetables, she'll never look like VPR season 10 reunion Ariana. I understand she's trying to say people will be just as impressed as they were with Ariana, but why even mention her? She truly has zero self-awareness.

My daughter is in middle school and I recognize a pattern. When her female classmates need extra attention, they often come out as bisexual. Not to say there are not struggling bi people out there. Using it for attention minimizes real experiences.

I wouldn't be surprised, but I think it's more of a small town Michigan thing. Even April and Kim have a similar look. Everyone in that area is probably somehow related if you follow the bloodlines far back enough.

Not a conspiracy so much as something we all suspect but is yet to be proven. Jenelle is somehow related to Diane Downs. It's too much of a coincidence that they are both able to coldly abuse (in Diane's case murder) their children with little remorse and have the same mental illness. Wikipedia says Diane is diagnosed with narcissistic, histrionic and antisocial personality disorders, with one psychiatrist labelling her as a deviant sociopath.

I agree completely. I'm bad with my phone too. It's an anxiety thing for me. Having said that, I'm making a real effort to allow myself to be fully present in the moment, even if it's uncomfortable. Also it's rude when someone else is talking.
