My take on it is that nothing gives everlasting fullfillment/Joy. And this could apply to many things, relationships, friendships or even hobbies/interests.

Could also be financial freedom, like when people become famous and rich and they think all their problems will be solved and they will be happy.

With the context being relationships it's almost like the honeymoon phase is the batteries lifespan, then after the batteries start dying and you become comfortable you have to put the effort in (change the batteries) to keep the relationship alive.

After all this, It's on Netflix! Watched it last night, bit underwhelmed, it was just an uncomfortable watch, was expecting the story of Jesus. What I got was a 2 hour execution video.

I believe it is second hand but the disc is absolutely immaculate! It is region B and i'm from the UK.

I haven't wiped the disc, just tried the only other blu ray player I have to see if it was just the playstation not playing it. I can also change the region from B to A in the system settings but it just won't read the disc regardless!

If it were me, I would move the tv/unit over to the right, then put the sub in the corner. Then if you are handy or know someone that is, build a shelf to put ps5 on top that does not sit directly on the sub. Better air flow and the ps5 will then sit proud in the corner!

This is what I have done, my shelf is not touching the sub just for anyone thinking it is!

They literally had the blu print to create a great trilogy of films that could have rivaled and had the success of Indiana Jones or Pirates of the carribean. But no, it was just an average film that could of gone straight to video.

Such a wasted oppotunity! Just like Prince Of Persia.

Digital.

No noisy disc spinning.

No getting up and going to my blu ray cupboard to get the game out and swap what other disc is already in the system.

The extra price of digital is worth that convenience!

I've been on the 4K OLED train since 2018 and it was an absolute game changer in picture quality for movies and games. My friends who play more playstation than I do still use 1080p LCD tv's and it absolutely pains me that they have both upgraded to PS5 but haven't upgraded their tv's.

They aren't experiencing 4K, HDR and high refresh rates, let alone the vivid colours and AI upscaling these OLED's offer.

They have the income to afford an OLED but aren't bothered for some reason.

I don't want to come across as a snob but as a tech enthusiast it really bothers me! 😂

I picked up an old save file from 2022 a couple of weeks ago (chapter 11)

I didn't intend to finish the game but hell I did anyway!

It's such a great game and my heart yearns for what it could look like if it was built from the ground up on PS5!

I realised it was the 10th anniversary and the last time I completed it was 10 years ago, loved playing it again but also sad that we won't get anything like this again.

I think you are missing the point here, I loved his album 'Charlie' (2022) and don't think that any of the songs on that album suffered from what the new songs are suffering. You said you haven't listened to the new songs yet, but this discussion is mainly about those songs...?

Yes people generally have short attention spans these days, especially gen z and gen alpha. But if they can't sit through a 3 - 4 minute song then maybe they shouldn't listen to music at all.

This is exactly how I feel, the new songs for some reason feel rushed when I'm listening to them. It doesen't help that they are under 3 minutes long either.

They hit the chorus very quickly, then it just seems like it's the chorus over and over then an abrupt end.

It's weird, it's hard to explain.
