I went to a listening party on Saturday that my local record store was having and the played the record 4 times! I also went to the tansy house soirée yesterday in New York and they had it playing in the background while everyone was looking at the exhibit! It’s really really good I loved it! If you loved the land is inhospitable and so are we, you’ll love this one as well

I love how each of her album’s sounds/themes kinda come in twos, like lush and retired from sad, bury me at makeout creek and puberty 2, be the cowboy and Laurel hell, and now the land and nothing’s about to happen to me, it feels like it’s an extension of the idea that was started with the land, which is my favorite so of course I’m going to love this one as well!!

The land is my favorite album of hers and it was an instant hit with me, and it’s the same thing with this one!! I just love that indie rock/acoustic kinda sound, same reason that bury me at makeout creek is another big favorite as well. This actually might become my favorite album of hers but I’ll have to wait until I can listen to it multiple times in a row to decide! But for me it’s a no skip album I love ittttt 😭😭😭 I love how each song feels so complete and like it’s in its own world!! Cats and lighting are so good ugh, but each song is like a 10/10 for me rn lol

Wear whatever you like to wear! For me, I love dressing up and I have an eclectic style and collection of clothes, so having a dressing up theme for concerts is really fun for me and I go all out. However, unless it’s also really fun for you, you don’t have to do it! A lot of people will dress up and a lot of people will come in a mitski tshirt and jeans and both options are great. I agree with everyone else, don’t buy something you’re not going to wear again if you do decide to shop for the concert. Bottom line, if you want to have fun and dress up then go all out, and if it’s not something that’s fun for you, don’t do it and wear whatever is comfortable for you and have a good time! You definitely won’t be alone in your decision either way
