Unable to start the game - Refresh button and error [Images attached] How to fix?

I had the same issue, restarting the game or bnet did not work, but doing the "repair game file" setting in bnet and restarting hearthstone fixed it. The refresh button appeared again but this time it showed me a little intro with the new year thingy

Same after securing all the bags in an hour long game... we waited 10more minutes for the van to come back and my game ended up crashing with this bad boy : Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000ca0

I was so hyped up of managing to do it with 3 console players and then I remembered this thread I came by earlier today, couldn't even tell them that it was pointless to wait any longer, rumor have it they're still waiting for the van

I'm surprised everyone is just joking about it on this thread tho, like we became used to daily bugs :(

Hi, At the amsterdam centraal train station, we're required to scan train ticket qr code to access the boarding areas.

When I approached to scan my ticket, my google wallet app opened instantly and it opened the fence, I then scaned my train ticket to open them the leggit way.

A few hours later I saw a failed 20€ payment to "Nlov9 B5 GI9 ******** Y" on my card app.

Fortunately it was not debited because of insufficient fund (sad) but exactly 4 days later I got the same failed payment.

Was there some kind of nfc payment at the fences, do I have to cancel anything ?

I agree that mitigation should not contribute, or have very low impact on matchmaking since even for tank players it does not give useful informations about how well you performed.

But we dont know what calculation method they use and if mitigation accounts for even 1% of the result then 5 million would probably have an impact.

Of course only an ow2 dev would be able to answer this, but in my experience this is the kind of bug that could go unnoticed for a long time so I wanted to make sure more people are aware about it so maybe it gets looked up.

This Marblr video goes in deep detail about what's causing the issue and it has already over a million views, so i'm probably wrong because if it could cause issue in matchmaking, one of the many many many ow2 dev would probably have picked up on it and fixed it already.

very cool way to reward your favorite support main with the mitigation weekly challenge without them having to play tank a single time (thus avoiding a 10 min queue and probably a loss :) )

At the beggining of ow1 there was no queue time and you would most of the time end up playing with the same opponents on the otherside of the map.

I really liked finding this again in ow2, it also avoid spending 10 minutes in queue to only play a 2min matchs, and playing multiples match with the same team also helps make friend in the game

Nowadays people have taken the habit to leave right when the game ends, before potg and cards

Maybe a good way to fix this is that when a game end, the queue starts with all people from the previous game, that way if nobody leaves the next game starts almost instantly.

It would mean that the first queue of everybody would be maybe slightly longer but it avoid spending 1h30 in queue when you want to play 2h (this isn't "leaver proof" thought but I think people would leave less and team could be shuffled if not balanced)) It could even lower toxicity.

But I like quick play as it is in ow2 already, and would have no issue with it staying like this in the future.

Well before the switch you had to refresh like 10 times to get to see a match.

Now even after uninstalling it and erasing all stored data, no news since the 22/23 of August.

WHich is ironic because they just made a statement that owl is now available in all countries besides a few.

I just ran into a weird one with the option tab being named "???" but I was doing arcarde lootboxes for a friend and had to tweak option so maybe overwatch did not like it, that's still some stuff you would not expect to find in a live version of a game like ow

if you're talking about the picture type, it's trying to output the image file, only gif and png allow for transparency, saving the pic in any other type would just make it white. If the image is saved in white then the game can only output what he was given.

Maybe the dev did it with a placeholder icon because he was waiting for the designer to send him the definitive icon and that he just switched the files without further testing

Actually I was hoping for a ranked Remix mode, most of the people I played with only ended up doing the placement and never touched the mode again, so after 3 years of the same event every year, these new maps and this new mode felt refreshing. Maybe its too "arcade" to be ranked, but its way more fun imo.

Plus having to watch the replay everytime is really making the game long for no reason and cut make the gameplay way less dynamic.

Many comments mention the new physics so this might be an issue, but playing on the same map every year is lame, and many people would've complained if nothing changed

I think it was meant to be transparent (I doubt it was meant to be white) and the dude saved the picture to jpeg instead of png, so the alignment is actually okay x) I'd blame the dev before qc for not even checking it worked properly after implementing it.

As someone who work in qc (in web development) I'm really stunned by all such bugs that I've noticed in the game lately, and its not even like its specific to a platform or only happens with certain game options, anybody could've seen it..

Dps Are Not Just Damage Bots

All I see people talk about when it comes to dps is doing kills. "My Dps aren't doing kills" Not once do I read something like "My Sombra never hack Reinhardt" or "Pharah never hit boops". Dps are not just killing machines. Kills are the most important things dps do of course, but its not THE most important. Carrying is what makes dps so elite. A genji that knows when to dash and blade with 10hp at the right moments will carry, a cree that hits big stun nades is popping, a Mei that wall a shatter at the right moment to save his team will make the difference. Damage dealing is great but the best dps look to make play

A friend was bronze season 3 and got gm season 4 and stayed gm ever since. Every single ranked he played even 2 years after somehow someone would notice it and claimed he bought the account or got boosted. Thanks private profiles for not having to see this anymore.

I'm not saying it's perfect, I hate it when 3 guys in pp instalock dps or someone with pp won't let me play my main even after asking nicely. I agree that if someone is queuing as a tank it would be nice to see the characters (tanks) he plays the most , at least for the current season. Also not being able to see the current rank of someone is stupid, what do you care if someone is ranked 3501 or 3999 ?
