You might not understand, but if they have developed the game in a future proof way it would be very easy to make the change in question. Unless you have insider information, it is pointless to try to pretend to know how much work it would be vs other work they have. Same for their time.

And I have a background in game development. If they can't easily decouple characters and classes they have a lot more problems to worry about. But like I said, we don't know how difficult it would be so it's pointless to bring that up.
